“Great location”

A clean, comfortable hotel in the middle of the spots we wanted to visit. Staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast had almost everything you could imagine to stuff ourselves with before starting out 8 hour turista ruta. Minor problem (as everywhere in Spain we visited) was parking. Stayed in 8 different cities and none had parking included in the room rate and only one had its own parking area/facility. Had to drop off bag, go find public parking (avg 15 euros/night as throughout Spain) and find our way back to the hotel (15 minute walk) Overall, very happy with hotel and stay in Cordoba. Beautiful and interesting city.

Right opposite mesquita in fabulous location. Rooms are large, clean. Very nice staff.

“Would Definately Stay Again”

Great Location, safe and Lots of fun to behad in that area. Conveinent to Metros and only 8 euros by taxi to train station.

“Great location”

This place is right next to the Mezquita. The front desk staff were very friendly. Their recommendations for places to eat would have been better if they'd included the names of places and directions not just vague markings on a map. I would recommend this place for a short stay if you're in Cordoba for a couple of nights. There was no assistance with baggage to and from our room, which was okay for us but not for every traveler.

“Best location”

This hotel is across the street from the Great Mosque, so its location could not be better. The streets surrounding the hotel are filled with interesting shops and restaurants ranging from a Burger King to fine dining (ask reception for a recommendation). All of the major tourists sites are within walking distance of the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were a little harder than I prefer.

“Close to the Mezquita, that was nice”

The hotel is nice. The restaurant will be better if they have more food variety. Employees were very nice. I liked that is close to shops and the Mesquita is right at front of the hotel.

“Great value in Cordoba”

Eurostars Maimonides Hotel was a great value. Iloved the balcony. Our low rate did not include breakfast, but the hotel had a cafe where we ate (not worth it). There are plenty of cafes nearby. The location was excellent. We did get a bit lost when we took the local bus from the main bus station. Spent the day in the Mezquita ... it's awesome! Wander around the city; it's charming. Down the street from the hotel is a touristy flamenco show ... but worth it.

“Not impressed”

I chose this hotel because of its location--directly across from the Mezquita. The room was quiet and, though small, comfortable and adequate, nothing special. There was no sense of welcome, or warmth, in the "greeting" given us by hotel staff. No offer of help was given, either in transporting bags or maps of the city, suggestions for sightseeing, etc. There was one computer for guest use, but when my daughter sat down to use it, we were told, unapologetically, that it was broken. I returned to the desk later to ask some specific information about getting tickets for some events in town. The hotel staff person tossed down a brochure and said that they "knew nothing" about how to get tickets for any events. When we returned to the hotel in the evening, there was no acknowledgment, welcome, from anyone at the front desk. My expectations of service in a nice hotel were definitely not met.

“Very convenient and comfortable”

The price for renting two rooms for four travelers was reasonable given the perfect location of the hotel -- at the northwest corner of the Mezquita/Catedral of Corboba. I had stayed here on another trip a couple of years ago and was pleased with it then and continue to be so now. My one complaint was the dining room in the one evening we were there was staffed by only one person who was maitre d', waiter, and busser. He was not welcoming nor very service oriented--furthermore he expressed his displeasure by shutting the dining room an hour earlier than posted. The dining room staff on the other hand at breakfast was friendly, service oriented, and accommodating. All in all the hotel is convenient and comfortable and worth the stay.
