“At the steps of the mosque”

Maimonides Hotel is probably one of the best hotels I ever stayed in! My room was quiet (it was not overlooking courtyard or street, which was good, I think) and it was super-clean, its bathroom spacious and its bed firm, as I like. I loved the hotel and would surely stay their again as it is right at the steps of the Mesquita de Cordoba and a short walk to the Synagoge. Amazing hotel!

“Great location”

A clean, comfortable hotel in the middle of the spots we wanted to visit. Staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast had almost everything you could imagine to stuff ourselves with before starting out 8 hour turista ruta. Minor problem (as everywhere in Spain we visited) was parking. Stayed in 8 different cities and none had parking included in the room rate and only one had its own parking area/facility. Had to drop off bag, go find public parking (avg 15 euros/night as throughout Spain) and find our way back to the hotel (15 minute walk) Overall, very happy with hotel and stay in Cordoba. Beautiful and interesting city.

“Ideally Situated”

This was a first visit to Cordoba. I checked a few hotels on the internet re. location but it can still be a bit of a lottery - you never really know until you arrive. Not too well signposted, but not too difficult to find, but a great location with, (essential in Cordoba centre), an underground car park. A comfortable hotel, very well situated for sightseeing, for al fresco street cafes and for dining out in the evening. Didn't use the hotel restaurant but did use the cafeteria. Good friendly service from the staff. No hesitation in recommending the Maimonides.

“Best location”

This hotel is across the street from the Great Mosque, so its location could not be better. The streets surrounding the hotel are filled with interesting shops and restaurants ranging from a Burger King to fine dining (ask reception for a recommendation). All of the major tourists sites are within walking distance of the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were a little harder than I prefer.

It's a great hotel especially rooms 210-214 overlooking the mosque/cathedral. We are already looking forward to visiting again.

The hotel is located right next to the Mesquita, the main tourist attraction in Cordoba. It is in the old quarter and a bit tricky to find but this facilitates sightseeing. There are also some impressive architectural features such as the traditional enclosed Spanish patio/courtyard.
