“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay”
During our eleven day trip to Spain, Hospederia De El Churrasco was somewhat of a shot in the dark, but proved to be an exceptional find. Being located in the twisty streets surrounding the Mezquita, the directions from Michelin were not quite up to snuff and we were a little stressed by the time we got there. The complimentary glass of wine was a good start to our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, classical style furniture, a very comfortable bed, big screen tv, plus the in-room computer and internet access. Staff was very helpful and spoke better English than we spoke Spanish. A decent breakfast is included in the base rate plus it can dressed up with different cheese, egg, meat, fruit, juices at no additional cost. Eat in the courtyard or dining areas. Our room had a terrace and breakfast was delivered at no charge at the time we wanted - perfect way to start the day. Bathroom was all we hoped for including bathrobes. Very quiet place and very attractive. Not inexpensive but a good value for the money. Close to the attractions of the old city. Had two suppers at the attached restaurant that were very good. Parking was 20 euros per day extra, somewhat more than other places we stayed. Highly recommended. Obviously you can spend more and get more, but for us any more would have been superfluous - this was one of two most expensive places on our trip and we were not disappointed
