Great location , cheap stayPosted Sep 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is a typical small hotel in Europe. The beauty of Europe is you can find cheap hotels right in the city centers in good neighborhoods and they have adequate to excellent facilities. You usually give up on some 'American' amenities and the the rooms are very small. But for me I just need a nice, clean, and safe room, that is located close to where I want to be. Hotel Boston affords that! The only bad thing was the toilet made a gurgling sound ; which was easily solved by closing the door.

Good location but staff poor in communicationPosted Jun 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
The best thing about this hotel is it is located right at the center of the town. That is where it stops. The elevator has to be called to the ground floor (already a few steps to the street), since reception is on 1st F - inconvenience. Stayed one day and met three receptionists. The first one a woman , hardly spoke English and told me $20.50 when it was $40.50. The second one w/ the best English skill among the staff, as from my interactions and other staff's comments, and he wrote down wake up call at 6:30 when I requested 7:30. It was a total shock to me that such a basic in language could go so terribly wrong. So don't ever trust them -- write down the numbers on the paper when you speak to them. This was the worst case among all the hotels I stayed during my trip in May and June 2013. Buyer be aware.

Great, basic, locationPosted Jun 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel Boston delivers a good, basic, hotel room in a good location. The staff was always available and helpful -- they gave me a map, directions to sites, let me leave my bag after I checked out, etc. The rooms are clear but nothing fancy -- I did enjoy the view over the rooftops. The walls a a bit thin, pretty normal for European hotels -- but I wasn't bothered by any noise. The bathrooms are small -- the shower is pretty much a corner with a curtain-- but there was soap, towels, and everything worked. The location is nice as long as you don't mind being just outside of the old quarter-- it's about a 2 minute walk into the little alleys and historic buildings and about 10 minutes the other direction to the train station. All and all pretty much as described & what I was looking for.

Great central location. Room a little tiredPosted May 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
Located on pedestrian main square with plenty of life, just north of old town. 15 min pleasant walk to RENFEE train station. English speaking reception not overly helpful. My small dble bed room with bathroom was tired but fine. Decent aircon. FST TV with Spanish only channels. Pleasant breakfast room overlooks main square. My room at rear was quiet despite a glorious free live Flamenco performance in square. If arriving by car best take advise before arrival. Overall hotel 3.5/5 for value. Cordoba is a must!
