Everything in the rooms needs to be replaced. Lamps are very old and hardly work. A/C units need replacing. We had to change rooms because of this issue. Beds are extremely hard and need replacing. Pillows are inadequate and need replacing.

I book via expedia and arrive at 11am… everything was as planned. I make the check in and take a nap at 6pm. When i wakeup there were 2 cockroaches under my shoes, i start packing up… found 2 more under my portfolio… Immediately i ask to change my room and in the new room , at the entrance it was again a cockroach… They change my room a 3 time… and same story. I try them to cancel and refund me … and they keep my money

I have stayed there twice. I like it. It's pleasant and the staff are professional and responsive to requests. My only suggestion is that the food in the restaurant could stand some improvement.

El personal muy amable. Los cuartos reducidos pero muy limpios. La zona muy accesible para ir a comer a pie a varios sitios. La habitación con problemas de goteo en el aire acondicionado, amanecimos con una laguna algo grande a un lado de la cama.

Las instalaciones se encuentran viejas, mi habitacion era muy sencilla con una TV pequeña y no contaban ni con toalla de mano. El servicio de Internet dejo mucho que desear.

Called day of stay, we were not able to get there until midnight. They had an attendent greet us (he was informative). The room was clean and the shower had hot water. But the next day they didn't seem very helpful.

Mission Orizaba has a great location and the staff is most helpful & friendly. The bed was very comfortable, plenty of hot water and the heater was quiet & efficient. A few details made it feel like it was due for some maintenance. The towels were a bit tattered and the lamps flickered off & on but were quickly replaced when we pointed this out. Overall a very good experience and I can recommend this hotel without reservation.

THE FOOD WAS MEDIOCRE AT BEST. THE BATHROOM FLOOR WAS WET ALL THE TIME. I REPORTED IT, AND THEY DID NOT CORRECT THE SITUATION.

Since the first day at the mission orizaba, everything was great, the service, they took care of me in every aspect, I really enjoyed my room and the hotel. I really recommend mision orizaba, amazing!!!! Thank you!!!

So much promise, but so disappointing ...
This hotel was well-reviewed, and the price was right, but we found it to be very uneven. That is, it had a very nice appearance, nice location, the rooms were clean, and the valet parking was quite efficient. That said, the front desk staff were slow and inefficient. The restaurant was clunky in every way... poor service, waitress who did not know what was on the menu, and problems in charging us. The water in the hotel was very unpredictable ... no hot water one day, no water at all another day. The door keys de-magnetized daily, which made for a lot of extra trips to and from the front desk. Again, the place is clean and attractive, but the management needs to do an overall quality check, and make sure that all dimensions of this hotel live up to its promise.

Good hotel
Extremely easy access from the ADO bus station. The bellboy even carried our bags over to our departing bus. On a large noisy street, best to request a room in the back. Walk to all sights. Food in restaurant very good.

It's a renovated older hotel. Rooms are good, but you can hear noise from other rooms. Staff is awesome. Breakfast buffet is excellent, but it is in a smoking area where people smoke while you eat.

Amazing service
Everyone at the hotel was amazing. They were very polite and friendly. The hotel offered everyday complimentary coffee and fresh fruit water. Next time i come back to orizaba i am staying here again.

Not a Mision hotel as I expected
We had stayed in Mision Orizaba back in March this year with the family and was reasonably ok, so we decided with my wife to stay for a night again and this time it was not good I am afraid. We were assigned a room in the ground floor, old, not well looked-after. We asked for a shower cap and the housekeeping service was already closed (around 11pm). People at reception was friendly but not exactly with a willingness to help. Restaurant was too expensive for what they offered. Overall, I think that for the quality and expectations you have with one of this top class hotels, Orizaba one was well below expectations. Management will need to keep a close eye especially on hotel maintenance.

The siink wss clogged so the room was not checked prior to re-use. The plumber and cleaning lady were nice. Then the shower cold water handle would not turn and the desk guy was not helpful. After much trying, the cold water knob turned. There were no further problems. There was no complementary breakfast and the wifi did not work. There was a password but it kept saying password incorrect. The desk staff did not offer help, they sboided helping and were under trained. I do not recommend this place to anyone. I tried and made the best of it and left with a sense of disappointment reference the hotel. The rest was fine. I tipped and thanked the cleaning lady. She was the best the hotel had.

Noisy if on the street side of hotel
Rooms were decent. Showers could use updating. There was a wedding and reception the night we were there and so music and microphones could be heard. Also our rooms were along the main street out front. It was fairly noisy. We slept ok. Breakfast not included but there's a McDonald's across the street which was cheap and easy as well as many other local restaurants to choose from. The city was very likeable and we hope to go back. Just not specifically to this hotel most likely... Also, super tight parking garage below.

Wonderful Atmosphere
Beautiful older hotel yet very well maintained. Great wifi and a dedicated WhatsApp number for anything you need. Modern ideas in a historical setting.

Excellent hotel in great location close to Zocalo.
This was the loveliest hotel I had encountered thus far on this travelling no holiday. The city is quite clean and it was an interesting walk to the nearby Zocalo.
