Very good accommodation, flexible enough to accommodate us for an extra day, due to weather conditions and extension of golf competition . Pleasing surroundings.

“The Best Place to Stay in Blarney”

This hotel was wonderful, from service to amenities, and even the delicious hot breakfast available. We enjoyed the hot tub they had as well as the chess set that was in the sitting area. John and Anne (the owners) and all of the people who worked to serve us were very kind and hospitable. I won't go anywhere else if I visit Blarney again!

This is a very nice B&B 5 minutes away from the Blarney Castle. I would stay here again.

“Modern, well-run set-up.”

Really enjoyed our stay. Beds / bedrooms very comfortable. There's no view as such from the bedrooms on the ground floor ... not a great concern of ours, but the building itself, including lounge and dining area, was exceptional. Wine available, though hosts happy to chill our own. Feel churlish even mentioning that TV channels are limited. Missed some of my favourites. Will certainly visit again.

The Ashley Lodge was remarkably clean with a very warm welcoming decor. Our hosts were most gracious. They seemed totally committed to making our stay there as pleasant as possible. We would definitely stay there again if we return to the Cork/Blarney area.

“Fantastic”

Very impressed with Ashlee Lodge. John was a superb host and was very helpful. The Lodge is nice and quiet, extremely relaxed and although the breakfast was a tad expensive, we really enjoyed our stay. There is a bus stop 1 min away for easy access in to Blarney & Cork but make sure you ask John for a timetable! This was a great location for us, we wanted somewhere quiet but with easy access in to the city. Ashlee Lodge fit the bill perfectly. The hot tub is also a nice little bonus! My girlfriend and I will definitely return here one day.

“A Jewel in Blarney's Crown”

It was a great pleasure and very relaxing to stay at Anne and John's hotel. Nothing was too much trouble, we were able to check in before midday and were met with nothing but politeness, friendliness and wonderful Irish charm. John provided me with perfect directions to drive to Kinsale for an evening meal. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast was hot and fresh and delicious. I do not hesitate in recommending Ashlee Lodge to anyone visiting Kerry and Blarney in particular

“Great as a base for travelling in the Cork area”

We wanted a quiet place to stay while combining a leisure break with some family research in the Cork area. What we got was a beautiful room, very clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff who were helpful in every way. Food was gorgeous and plentiful and served with a smile. We have been in large expensive hotels that were not half as good. It really was a very happy and enjoyable experience staying at Ashlee Lodge and we couldn't rate it highly enough.
