Absolutely love this place!Posted May 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
We had such a great experience at this hotel! I wish we'd had more time. Every member of the staff was friendly and accommodating. They did, however, seem slightly understaffed. The room was much brighter and more updated than their photos would lead you to believe. The location was perfect... Right down the road from the entrance to the Blarney Castle as well as near some great shopping. The evening entertainment was extremely enjoyable. There was live traditional music in the lobby, a gypsy jazz band in the bar and yet another musical group in the restaurant. I truly hope I get the opportunity to return to Blarney. I'd definitely stay at the Blarney Castle Hotel again.

HIghly recommendedPosted Apr 24, 2014
Pros: The hotel itself has a certain character, the stafff is outstanding and the food is worth going for on its own.
Cons: Can't think of anything...
Location: Hotel is within walking distance of Blarney Castle (beautiful scenery), Blarney Woolen Mills (great shopping), driving distance of day trips in South.
i can't say enough about the staff. Great people. The food and entertainment were excellent. My wife and I used the hotel as base to explore Southern Ireland. We plan on going back as soon as we can.

Top notch country stay with lovely hospitalityPosted Apr 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
The staff at this country hotel could not be any nicer and the breakfast simply could not be any better--both were wonderful each day. Their brown bread is to die for! The pub is very fun too. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious and we were served the best desserts we have had during our UK visit. This is a fantastic value and I highly recommend it. Parking in back for your car too.

Best stay for Blarney CastlePosted Feb 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
If you are going to kiss the ol' Blarney stone this is the best overnight stay. You can walk there in just a couple moments. The pub and restaurant downstairs have delicious food as well and the staff will bend over backwards to help your every need. Certainly worth a stop.

Walking distance to the Blarney CastlePosted Jan 1, 2014
Pros: The staff.
Cons: Bathroom tubs could use a little "facelift" - grout between the tiles failing
Location: A few minute walk to the Blarney Castle. Great pub inside the hotel, extremely popular with the locals! 5-7 min walk to Woolen Mills Shopping center.
Had a wonderful stay - Mozam was terrific, cared for us like we were personal guests in his home! ALL the staff were helpful and attentive. The hotel is old, but well maintained. Breakfast was included, food was delicious...including the fresh catch for dinner, our compliments to the chef!!

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend or stay here again. We were given a friendly welcome, and the food and service both at breakfast and dinner was excellent. Wish we had been staying for longer!

Blarney Castle Hotel - Wonderful and Charming!Posted Nov 3, 2013
Pros: The room and the restaurant! Very homey with world class charm! The simplicity of Blarney and the people was so nice!
Cons: not really
Location: Blarney is very small but some great pubs and restaurants. The town of Cork is not far if you want to go somewhere larger!
This hotel was so nice and quaint! They had a wonderful restaurant and pub where the locals hang out! Our young adult children totally enjoyed talking with the Irish residents of Blarney! The food was excellent and the room very large and roomy! A great getaway from Dublin where it is loud and crowded! The breakfast was great too! There is a good store called Woolen Mills that has upscale merchandise and nice prices. It was our favorite part of the trip! We loved the castle and the grounds were beautiful! The hotel staff was so friendly and nice!

Nicely remodeled older hotel next to Blarney CastlPosted Sep 25, 2013
Very quaint but nice European hotel. It is being refurbished while we were there but that caused no problems. Very short walk to Castle and several pubs. Nice staff!
