“Raucous and impossible to sleep in”
The night we arrived there were two major parties happening in the hotel restaurant downstairs. The first encounter was a dining room of screaming children. The bar is also adjacent to the restaurant on the first floor and was also loud. Our room was one flight up - level 1. The room itself was fine - large in size with fine amenities. We had issues with the internet being down and had a frantic hotel staff member try to help us by making us test it out in 4 different areas... to only find out it was down for the entire area. We went out to get some food and walk around. The town square was basically all there is in the tiny town of Blarney who's main attraction is the castle. For a limited trip to see it it may be suitable but when we arrived back at the hotel to retire for the night - the evening got quite worse. Around 9pm a live band started downstairs in the bar/restaurant area. It was so loud that even a flight up where our room was - we could feel the bass vibrating in our bed and the glass lampshade on our overhead light hitting the lightbulb making a constant ticking sound. We thought it may end around 11 or 12am but nope - went on well into the morning and also escalated with chants and singing from the party goers. It was impossible to get a wink of sleep and we had to get up at 7 am to drive back to the airport which was not enjoyable sleep deprived. We asked for a refund and are waiting to hear back. If they don't we definitely don't reccomend staying there.
“Would stay here again”
Staff was very accommodating, friendly, & helpful. Facility is older, so lacking in some of the "modern amenities", but still neat and clean. Soundproofing is somewhat of an issue due to age of building, but we were not overly disturbed. There is no elevator, but staff carried our bags to the 3rd floor. Location is in walking distance to Blarney Castle and shopping, but off-street hotel parking was tight. Irish entertainment is provided some evenings, which was a lot of fun! This hotel fit our requirements for price and location. We would stay there again.

“I Love Blarney!”
During or trip to Ireland, we never stayed in a hotel more than one night... Blarney Castle Hotel was where we stayed the second night of our journey. It was such a delightful room with a fabulous view of Blarney Castle. We enjoyed the pub downstairs which featured a live band and savored the amazing breakfast in the hotel's restaurant prior to our departure. During our flight home, my husband ask me what part of the trip was my favorite and I told him our time spent in Blarney!
“Incredible experience at the Blarney Castle Hotel”
We spent one night at Blarney Castle hotel and had a blast! The room was very tastefully decorated and comfortable. Declan and Connie were awesome and made our stay very personal. We were sad to leave and wished that we had booked another night! Maria's leak and bacon soup was AWESOME!!
“Best breakfast in Blarney”
The rooms are plain but spotlessly clean. Beds are comfy with plenty of pillows. Wireless internet was flawless. The breakfast is the best I've had at a B&B in Europe. Blarney is a quiet little village, this is a nice starting point for your Ireland experience.
