“Wonderful place, wonderful hosts!”

Everything was perfect. Close to city centre, delicious and speedy breakfast every day, and our hosts were extremely personable and accommodating. Will definitely go again and recommend to everyone!

“Excellent B&B”

Easy to find, friendly and attentive staff. Room clean and comfortable. Hearty breakfast. Ample parking at back of guest house. Stayed on second floor and able to connect to the free wifi without difficulty. All in all an excellent stay and a good price, would go back.

“Pleasantly Surprised”

Even though we had booked online that morning for a double bed, we were giving a 2 bed (1 single and 1 double) room with ensuite. It was on the 4th floor, no elevators, but that wasn’t a problem. Room was clean and tidy, with shampoo/soap in bathroom as well as tea/coffee. Since it was only a 10 minute walk to downtown Cork it was extremely convenient. Easy to locate and had extra parking at the back. At first it seemed that breakfast was overpriced at 7.50 Euros for cereal, muffins and toast, but when we sat down at the table was offered tea/coffee with either a full fry or eggs/bacon and toast. Portions were very generous. I would recommend this place to anybody.

Although we arrived early, the hostess served us tea and coffee while our room was being prepared. The included breakfast was delicious and well worth the price. The downtown bus stopped nearby, a great convenience. Thank you, Margaret, for your hospitality.

A great place to stay. 10 minutes walk into the centre, lovely staff. A really wonderful base from which to see a lovely city.

“A comfortable place to stay”

Killarney Guest House was a comfortable place for our family to stay, and at a great price. The rooms are small, but very clean. Very quiet, even though it is on a busy street, convenient parking. Downtown Cork is just a few minutes away, within walking distance. The breakfast was good and included hot choices as well as fresh fruit, cereal, and choice of beverages. The staff was wonderful! I would recommend this hotel for families, couples, and singles.

“Great Breakfast and Tea & Scones on Arrival”

Location about 10 mins (easy) from centre of town a plus. Our double room was a bit small, but comfortable and did the job the night. Got tea & scones on arrival (nice touch) and breakfast was more than ample, fresh, and loads to choose from.

“Fantastic”

Loved this place. Friendly little guest house a short walk from the centre of town. Room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was a little small, might be an issue for a couple trying to get everything done at once but it was fine for me on my own. Would definitely stay there again.
