Great location, excellent servicePosted Jun 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
Front rooms (Book early!!) overlook the harbour and bridge. as does the patio area if you want to sit there in the evenings. Hotel was clean and comfortable and the owner was always available if required. Access was up a flight of steep steps, but this did not present a problem. I was a little worried about potential noise as all traffic into and through Looe has to use the road in front, but I was not disturbed at all.

Popular B&BPosted Mar 28, 2013
Pros: Welcoming and helpful staff, cleanliness
Cons: Small bathroom
Location: Interesting, central Looe overlooking the river and bridge, but not noisy
Very popular B&B - to our surprise it was full even on a cold pre-Easter weekend. Staff very welcoming (cup of tea on arrival much appreciated) and helpful, and breakfast just right. Seems to have lots of repeat guests.... Very clean and the bed was comfortable, the room airy. In central location overlooking Looe bridge with interesting views but still quiet (except for one overwrought Saturday night couple outside!) . Only difficulty was the size of the ensuite (but lots of hot water).

Room with a view!Posted Aug 10, 2012 on Hotels.com
Bridgeside is decent and fair value for money. The location opposite the bridge provides beautiful views from the river facing rooms but the hotel is old and wear and tear does show. The staff is very friendly and we had a great breakfast

Room with a VIEWPosted Aug 1, 2012 on Hotels.com
On arriving, we were a bit unsure about the parking facilities, but after speaking to one of the very helpful staff, we were able to use a public car park for the 2 nights at a very cheap cost. A 5 minute walk from hotel. The hotel itself is situated on the river and is very central to all amenities. A bus route is outside and there are plenty of taxi's if in a hurry. Our room overlooked the river and at night it was all lit up and was beautiful at 3am.Rooms ( pillows could be a bit softer), full english breakfast and all ther staff were A1. The only complaint ( which had nothing to do with the hotel were the loud yougsters outside after kicking out time. They soon moved on and then it was back into a dreamy sleep. We would definately stay there again and tell all our friends about it.
