Best B&B of the tour

Posted Jul 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
Been staying in B&B's now for 2 weeks and found this one to be the best of the lot. Friendly and gentle host, and everything in immaculate new looking condition. The room was huge with 2 reclining chairs & with huge bathroom - even the towels and the cups for tea were huge. We left with the feeling that we had been generously treated. Only 2 minutes to the beach and one minute to eats, so it was an excellent choice. Loved it!

I would use it again

The single room was a little cramped and there was some noise but overall value for money and I would return.

Family room allocated as twin requested so room a reasonable size. Beds comfy & clean. Bathroom had just sliding door which is not ideal when room sharing with friend. Bathroom served its purpose but it was rather small (smallest I have ever been in) & there was not enough room to get dressed in there! Breakfast good. Staff friendly & very helpful. Hotel in good spot for touring the sights of West Cornwall. I would stay again if visiting the area.

Good traditional hotel

Posted Apr 24, 2014
Pros: Friedly, helpful staff.
Cons: Better veggie food options
Location: Located at centre of attractive village
Staff could not be more helpful or friendly. Rooms a little small but comfortable with everything needed. Food good but limited veggie option. Very good value for money.

A Cozy Practical Lodging

Posted Mar 20, 2014 on Hotels.com
While this is 20 minutes drive from downtown Penzance, it has charm, a friendly staff, and a fine breakfast. If you have time, Lands End is a short drive and the Kings Arms Pub across the square dated back to the 14th Century. The quality for the price makes this a good choice if you have a car.

A lovely stay!

Posted Mar 10, 2014
Pros: The location was good, staff lovely and there is nothing I had an issue with.
Cons: Nothing at all - for the price it was spot on!
Location: Lovely walk down to Cape Cornwall. There are 3 other pubs near by, each charming - go meet the locals. The butchers has the best pasties in Cornwall
The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean, bed comfortable and everything you needed was there! The breakfast was spot on, lots of choice and fresh fruit! Overall it was a lovely experience and I would stay again.

Very attentive owner who gave excellent service -

Posted Jan 29, 2014 on Hotels.com
We checked in late at night in November 2013, and after check-in the owner carried our bags up to our room! In the morning he produced a delicious breakfast where we had a choice of anything on the menu. After cereals and fruit the three of us had the Salmon - very tasty, followed by coffee and toast. As we were the last ones having breakfast he chatted with us for a while and told us several places to visit which we did. This was the second time we have stayed here. Located right in the centre of town this hotel was clean and had all the required necessities.
