“Feel at home at Eden Lodge- really !”
I have stayed in some pretty good places in my 47 years of travelling, but for freindliness and helpfulness of the owners, this is by far the best. Nothing is too much trouble for them, for instance, on one morning of my stay, I had to catch a train to go to a hospital for a scheduled scan at Truro hospital and discovered that I only just had time to get to the railway station, possibly even might have missed the train. I happened to mention to the the owner my reason for rushing out of the door and she immediately whisked me to the staion in her car, without me even asking, and I did not even hint, honest ! it is often said about some really good guest houses that they are like a home from home, but this one is better than that, really, go there and try it if you do not believe me... Now, I have been a bad sleeper for the whole of my life, but in Eden Lodge I slept so well. Don`t ask me why, but there is something about the place that made me sleep better than I do at home !
