Spacious, well specced apartmentPosted Sep 12, 2013
Made very welcome by the owners (of no. 21), who even gave us a bottle of champagne upon hearing we had been recently married. Handy for the Eden project and nice beaches. Provided continental breakfast was finee. Would recommend the apartment - better value than Hotels.

Lovely accommodation, very spacious with great facilities. A warm and friendly welcome from owner with lots of advice about local attractions and places to eat. Delicious scones, clotted cream and homemade strawberry jam awaits your arrival.

Top class homePosted Jun 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
Kernow standard is 5*, spotless, modern and every convenience..including beach umbrella and beach bags!. It was home from home from the first minute. The welcome Cornish scones/cream hit the spot after our transatlantic flight.

Fantastic Views and Outstanding AccomodationPosted May 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
From the moment we booked everything went perfectly. We emailed Jenny with some questions and got very prompt replies and then we met Ruth on arrival. The apartment was everything we could have wanted and more. We were wary of the continental breakfast that was offered, but it was excellent. Loads of eggs, cereal , butter and milk. We have already recommended the apartment to other friends and family. A wonderful stay.
A great base to explaore CornwallPosted Aug 18, 2012 on Hotels.com
If you are looking for a great base to explore the local area, then Kernow Homes is worthy of close consideration. It is a modern apartment block in the outskirts of St Austell, with easy access to the A30. Truro is a 20 minute journey, Looe/Polperro about the same, Newquay or Falmouth are 30-45 minutes, depending on the traffic and Lands End is about 90 minutes away. The apartment (Charlestown) was beautifully fitted out and provisioned with tea, coffee and much more (unexpected, but very welcome.) The two ladies who manage the property are friendly and very helpful. Even the car parking is well organised, with each apartment having a numbered place. In fact, the only downside was the TV/internet connection, which was intermittent. Highly recommended.

on the doorstep of eden and charlestownPosted Jul 16, 2012 on Hotels.com
Slight hiccup at start as hotels-dot-com not provided enough details to vendor so they didnt have my phone number or email address for a more personal conversation about arrival timings. Luckily mobile number of vendor displayed on bill board outside property so could get in touch. Clean, warm, safe, well stocked, delightful setup with all mod cons and comfortable with 2 children in tow (2yrs and 10 months) Would definately return.

Superb accommodationPosted Jul 13, 2012 on Hotels.com
The apartment was spotless and everything we needed was provided, with a great deal of forethought obviously given to what people would need to be comfortable on holiday (even down to facial wipes in the bathroom). A special bonus was homemade scones and jam with Cornish cream awaiting us on our arrival. Ample provisions were in place for snacks and breakfast every day. Plenty of books, games, local information etc. and a warm welcome from Jenny when we arrived. The furnishings, bedding and towels were of high quality and the beds were superbly comfortable (with tempura foam mattresses). Car parking was immediately outside. A short drive to the main holiday centres, so a car advisable. Can't recommend this accommodation highly enough. Thanks Jenny and Ruth!
