Lovely Cornish B&BPosted Oct 22, 2013
Pros: It was clean, well furnished and very comfortable. The owners were very friendly and helpful.
Location: Located in a secluded area of a small village very close to the Eden project (10 mins in the car)
We spent 3 nights at the Little Grey Cottage as we were attending a wedding nearby. We couldn't fault any aspect of the accommodation or the friendliness of the owners who were kind enough to give us to a lift to the wedding party on the Saturday. There was a wide choice for breakfast and each morning it was delicious and a great start to the day. We would definitely come back here again. It's a great location just round the corner from the Eden Project.

Countryside charmPosted Sep 10, 2013
If you have a car and are prepared to go off beaten track a couple of miles, this is a nice place to stay in the country, good hosts, with a nice country garden as an outlook. It is close to Eden Project, but there is only one place to eat nearby (a restaurant), otherwise if you want good value for money pub food when you expect pub food, you need to drive elsewhere, within 10 minutes drive the Holmbush Inn (outskirts of St Austell) on the A390 just west of the A390/A391 junction or the Rashleigh Arms (nice beer garden) as you enter the main village on the main street into Charlestown provide a good selection of meals to get you by

Just superb!Posted Aug 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
Well what can I say! We have just returned from a long weekend in the Little Grey Cottage - it was just fabulous from start to finish! Marion and Mick go above and beyond to make your stay just amazing. Our room was delightful - the bed was so comfy, immaculately clean with beautiful ensuite bathroom. Such attention to detail - - stunning decor, tea and coffee making facilities and a comfortable lounge. Our breakfasts were a veritable feast - nothing was too much trouble. The Little Grey Cottage is a veritable haven of peace and quiet and Marion was so kind and helpful even phoning us when we were late ariving as she was concerned we were lost! We shall return and thoroughly recommend The Little Grey Cottage to all.

Great location, excellent hostsPosted Jun 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
We were impressed with the friendly welcome from Marion and Mick. They were great. The bedroom was just fine, the bed very comfortable and the ensuite excellent. Everything was clean and fresh. Marion's breakfasts were great and her helpfulness in providing information about places to visit was very useful. We found the location very useful for tripping around. We would certainly stay again. This place is a real gem.

Brilliant B&BPosted Sep 24, 2011
Nothing to fault this place for. We stayed there because it is 20 - 30 minutes walk from the Eden Project and if you arrive on foot there is a discounted admission fee.

A pleasant experiencePosted Jul 4, 2011 on Hotels.com
This wasn't my first choice place to stay as I had left it rather late to book a hotel. However, I was very pleasantly surprised. The owners made me feel very welcome (making us a pot of tea and sitting in the conservatory). The owners are generous with food portions and so friendly and helpful. I went on my own with no car and she offered to drop off to various places. I doubt that I'd get that type of service elsewhere. I was thoroughly looked after and would recommend this place to anyone. One drawback, though is that the rooms are rather small to accommodate en-suite showers and toilets, but very clean and homely.

Excellent stayPosted Jul 31, 2009
Marian the landlady was great, the food was excellent. Marian recommended places to eat in the evenings and they were all very good. We met several guests from Europe and got on well and they all seemed impressed, we would definately go there again.
