Great find!Posted Nov 7, 2013
Pros: Cleanliness and breakfast!
Cons: The power in the shower wasn't spectacular, but it's a minor detail.
Small room, but spotlessly clean, nicely furnished and very comfortable. The breakfast (included in what I paid) was excellent and their coffee was actually worth drinking!

Quiet Friendly HotelPosted Oct 25, 2013
Pros: We found this to be a good Hotel with all the basic facilities a couple exploring Cornwall might need. With the bonus of an Outdoor pool in summer.
Cons: The room would benefit from re-decoration up to standard of the excellent en suite.
Location: Located on the edge of town but easily within walking distance of the centre. Well situated for exploring the lesser know beaches and cliff walks.
We felt very welcome in this small family Hotel. The room was spacious with plenty of storage space for clothes .The bathroom had been tastefully renovated with shower only and had lots of space and natural light. We had keys to come and go as we pleased and although on a main road the room was quiet because of the double glazing and being set back from the road. Our biggest surprise was the quality of the breakfast provided which was first class. There was extensive choice and It was always piping hot , perfectly cooked and made to order.

A cheap B&B at mostPosted Oct 7, 2013
Bed so hard couldn't sleep. Bedroom should be a single bedroom not a double. Towels very old and small Breakfast with cheap frozen sausages . Wouldn't come back even if it was a free stay

Stayed for a night to for event at Eden ProjectPosted Jul 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
As a family of three we booked a family room which was clean and lovely. The family who runs the guest house were absolutely helpful, very welcomed and friendly. We wished we could stay longer. The heated pool is a perfect size for a good swim. We really enjoyed it at lot. The breakfast was delicious. If you walk out of the guest house turn left by the round about you are in 10 minutes on the beach. When you want to go for a good meal you can go to good Pub called Mermaid Inn. It is located on the right side of the beach. I really recommend this guest house. It is only 30 minutes drive to the Eden Project. We will come again and hopefully for a longer stay.

Very Nice B & BPosted Jul 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
We only stayed on night but Pine Lodge is a nice clean place that provides a really good breakfast. There is a swimming pool and a games room, which is a great bonus. The only downside was that our en-suite shower room was on the small side, but we did have a budget room as we booked late and there were no others available. Walking distance to a lovely beach and next door to a very good Chinese restaurant that we would also recommend. All in all a very nice stay.

RELAXING BREAKPosted Jun 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at Pine Lodge. There was a friendly welcome from the family owners. Our room was spotless, the bed comfortable and a new bathroom. The breakfast was first class with a self service cereal selection followed by a nicely cooked hot breakfast to order. Location was within easy walk of the bus service. The lounge has a bar and large TV screen. We would return here in future.

It's nearby to local town centre and had good welcome from reception. It's old building but clean and tidy.
