Fantastic StayPosted Nov 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
I spend up to 15 nights away each month all over the country, and the St Agnes Hotel is without a doubt one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The food, the room and the atmosphere in the bar was absolutely was brilliant. I will be staying again, thanks to Bill & Di and all the other staff for looking after me.

More like a pub with rooms, but no noise from the pub. Room was excellent spotlessly clean and comfortable. Food was very good and well priced. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Nice roomPosted Oct 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
A nice hotel with a decent bar that does great food. Plus there is also sky sports in your room. A pity about the slight smell of dog on the 1st floor!

Nice hotel great for coastal walking .Posted Oct 12, 2013
Pros: Ideal for walkers and close to coast
Cons: Carpets up to rooms could be shampooed to irradicate dog smells. Back entrance doesn't do hotel justice
Location: Costal Path can be walked both North and South. Easy access to most of Cornwall
Cosy atmosphere in the bar and the dining room. Pleasant to have a drink and a meal there - chatting with the locals and other walkers. Fabulous breakfirst and good evening meals

Character yet conveniencePosted Oct 2, 2013
Pros: General atmosphere
Cons: Not a lot. Modernisation would probably downgrade the experience.
Location: Walking distance to the beach as long as you can cope with the vertical element. Village has most facilities if required.
Welcome greeting from staff set the tone and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Everything there but don't expect five star facilities, rather the character and ambiance set the scene for a great stay. Will definitely stay there again.

Comfortable hotel serving superb foodPosted Sep 27, 2013
Pros: Try Chef's Steak & Ale Pie - make sure you are hungry - then enjoy!! Service, cleanliness and friendliness all first class.
Cons: Decorations are tired - especially the window frames.
Location: Right in St. Agnes but a reasonable walking distance to Trevaunance beach and, of course, the Cornish Coast Path has excellent views both directions.
Warm welcome with directions to rear car park. Comfortable bed and "proper" breakfast after a sound night's sleep.
