Nice B & BPosted Sep 16, 2013
Pros: Liked the large room and quietness.
Cons: New towels and bed mattress and bedlinen. Bathroom renovation. Wardrobe.
Location: Visited St Ives, Penzance, St Michaels Mount, Mousehole and Truro.
We enjoyed the quiet location and this was ideal as our friends lived close by.Would have liked the heating on. Could not find out how to do this. Did not see the host very often (twice in 4 days). There was a jug but no coffee. There was no place to hang any clothes. Plenty of drawers etc. No iron in the room. Bath towels were very worn and need updating as does the bathroom and the bed needs a new mattress.

Charming B&BPosted Sep 9, 2013
I really loved staying at the Old Vicarage... the owners are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great, and the room was very comfortable. Very quiet location, but just a short walk from a bus stop and restaurants in the village. Highly recommended!

The place is run down, out all functions but there's nothing with wow factor and no reason to want to come back to, everything is dated and not huge advantage of the location either, don't think it's in st ives or penance it's not! And remember don't go hear of your not keen on graveyards

Quaint Cornwall! Fabulous breakfast!Posted Jun 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
Stayed for two nights as had to work nearby: Good value for money and had a homley feel, much better than staying on a boring Travel Lodge. Tucked away in the beautiful countryside of Cornwall the Old Vicarage had character as did its owner! Given a key so as you could come and go as you pleased, a wonderful breakfast to last the day and the service was prompt and accommodating. The owner was very helpful. Things to improve -your marketing, put cards out for the BnB too not just your other business, needs to update bathroom and make signs very clear from the road, perhasp a communal lounge for visitors. Thank you John and Rosie or a lovely stay!

We would visit again if in the area.Posted May 25, 2013
Lovely, well organized and complete breakfast. Rosie, John and Emily made us feel most at home ... even did our laundry for us at no cost. The room had all the basic amenities and clean. The mix of hot and cold water in the shower could have been a little better. The 400 yard drive in to the Old Vicarage is tree lined with farms on both sides of the road. All in all, comfortable and good value for money.

Great locationPosted May 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
A lovely place to stay, good breakfast, comfy bed, incredibly spacious room. Fresh fruit salad for breakfast is a healthy touch. You need to order breakfast the night before and state the time you want it on the form provided, which is a good idea. However the only downside to that is that the latest they serve is 9am, which doesn't allow a long lie-in.

Pros: breakfast, room quality
Cons: TV a bit small though
Location: location-wise very convenient, close to sea shore
Really lovely B&B very quiet and cottage atmosphere. Breakfast was brilliant and fully custom for our needs. Room is quite clean and with nice size. Thank you John for hospitality and definitely recommend to all travellers.

A very nice hotel in a quiet location not too far from Marazion. Good pubs close by but if you value your suspension go the long way round to it! Clean and tidy with a helpful host. However, the heating seemed to go off rather early in the evening and there was a frost!
