Beautiful view over quaint harbourPosted Jun 2, 2015
Pros: Location right on harbour front.
Location: Situated on harbour front with plenty of restaurants. Harbour cruises and Fowey Ferry. 20 mins from Eden Project.
Room nice with lovely view over harbour. Bathroom very small but sufficient for a short stay. Good full English breakfast included in price. Excellent evening meal in pub. Very quaint and pretty harbour area.

Postcard Picture Perfect.Posted May 30, 2015
Pros: The view, the village. The food for dinner and breakfast was outstanding.
Cons: Had to sit on the toilet at an angle with the bathroom door shut due to limited leg room but it is what it is and I would definitely stay again.
Location: Magical location. The view was amazing.
Pub/restaurant and our 2nd floor room faced the most charming view of the docks and small bay full of fishing vessels. We had to park in a public paid lot abut two blocks away since there was no parking on the dock (except for loading and unloading) but it was worth it. The village is something out of a storybook and fun to walk through. The only problem we had was trying to find the hotel in St. Austell. It's not in that city but about 15 minutes south in the small village of Mevagissy. What an amazing place. It's one of those places we'll definitely go back to.

A LITTLE GUEST HOUSE IN A BEAUTIFUL PLACE,Posted May 16, 2015
Pros: The helpful staff
Cons: Sound reduction between rooms.
Location: From this point of view the situation is first class. A wonderful little old English town with many attractions nearby.
The Internet billing did not fit this little guest house but in beautiful setting and with very helpful staff. I recommend the setting most highly.

The room was small but quaint, Clean & comfortable. The setting of the hotel & the surrounding village was absolutely stunning & the inclusive breakfast was second to none. We would definitely stay here again, this place is excellent value for money.

Real Character and a Memorable ViewPosted Mar 24, 2015 on Hotels
A perfect choice for an affordable, relaxing break. The room was small but clean and comfortable with a memorable view over the harbour. A comfortable and good sized bed plus one of the best breakfasts I have had made the weekend! The only minor downside is parking but we had no trouble unloading outside then parking at the Sunny Corner car park a 10 minute walk away. Charge was £4 overnight so quite reasonable.

Harbour delightPosted Feb 20, 2015
Pros: The harbour view, with a glorious sunrise was magnificent.
Cons: Reception was only available until 4:30pm and had to get instructions over the phone.
Location: We visited the Eden Project which was about 1/2 hour drive away, then went to Lands End.
A quaint guesthouse on the harbour, with our room looking out over it directly. The room was quite small and the ensuite shoehorned into a cupboard, but clean and comfortable. Our room was at the top of a flight of stairs, which were a challenge with our bags. As ever in a small harbour village, parking space was at a premium and we had to park some distance away in a local car park that cost £4.00. Breakfast was served in the restaurant below from 9:00am, and was delicious, if somewhat strange in that I ordered eggs benedict with smoked salmon and got one muffin with smoked salmon and the other one with salmon!!!! they were both very good.
