Property was very unique with lovely gardens and when the Sun is shining, you get great views over to Saint dives. It is a great location and has a number of facilities to enjoy although the Indoor pool Is open nine till six and whilst this is plenty of time it would’ve been more enjoyable It was open a bit later in the evening, perhaps to 8 pm. Itself was fine although there was some evidence of wear and tear and certainly a lick of paint would not go a miss specially in the corridors leading to the room. The room overall was tidy however there was a layer of dust on the TV remote the bin in the bathroom had seen very much better days, although this didn’t detract from our stay it does mean that we scored a four rather than the excellent as there were a number of things that could be improved. The staff overall were fine and friendly and the man at the security barrier was very helpful and always had a smile.

We do redecorate corridors regularly, but we have to bear in mind that unless we can block the entire corridors and adjoining rooms we do have paint smells which most guests would not like. We hope you reported any issues to our 24 hour reception allowing us the opportunity to investigate and remedy any issues

I would have given a higher rating if it wasn’t for the fact that I think I had the noisiest room in the hotel. I was near an internal door through to further rooms and every time someone opened it , it sounded like someone was opening my door as it made a noise. This made me a bit nervous as a single lady travelling alone. Also there was a party / wedding reception that went on until 12pm and I think I was right above it as I could hear every word to the songs even with the telly on. I gave a lower rating for cleanliness as although it was clean there was obvious mould on the bedroom wall and bathroom ceiling .

Loved the tropical gardens and the view over St Ives bay is amazing. Very friendly staff, the warm indoor pool was very relaxing. Good breakfast, plenty of options in a nice environment with lovely views from the restaurant. Good location for St Ives with lots of parking.

Super property and gave us everything we wanted for a family weekend away. Would have been "super-excellent" if the hotel could have arranged dry weather so we could play tennis too ;-)

The room was really small and out dated. It was so loud the pipes were banging all night and you can hear the people in the rooms above and next door as though they were sat next to you. The pool was terrible, slippery, outdated and you had to pay to use a towel. The grounds are lovely, staff were friendly and breakfast was standard. I personally would not stay again and feel that a travel lodge would have been better value for money.

Tennis courts are well maintained. Lovely Christmas decorations. Friendly staff. A short walk to the town (but up a hill to get home to Tregenna!).

Excellent location with lovely grounds, a beautiful place to stay!. Buffet breakfast had a great choice, staff were efficient and friendly. Our room was clean and warm with a lovely big bed to rest our weary legs after a long day exploring St Ives. Can't wait to return!

Reception staff very helpful and obliging, the room had lovely views and the grounds are amazing. However, in a 'Superior' room and for the the price paid I didnt expect to make up my own room on two of the three night stay. Breakfast was adequate but how the chef manages to make the cooked options (eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms) quite tasteless is a novelty....maybe a little seasoning and some butter might not go amiss.

We do email ahead of stay and mention at check in that the rooms are serviced each third day, we offer tea tray replenishments, fresh towels etc via our 24 hour Reception. If you were really unhappy having to make your bed on the first two mornings, Reception would have asked Housekeeping to arrange to do this, you only needed to ask us. We are disappointed by your comments regarding breakfasts, we hope you raised your concerns while with us. Kind Regards

Unfortunately, we needed a couple of days of rest but the room we were given had workmen working from 08:00 drilling and banging just outside our window. Paint fumes and dust came through the open window in the morning but even with the window shut the noise was tremendous. As we only stayed two nights we did not request to be moved as we had already unpacked for our stay. Otherwise the facilities were excellent but a shame that we did not get the rest we needed.

There were no lights turn on around the building were we at, so outside stairs and grounds from parking lot were dangerous to negotiate in the dark. Area could use better signage. The area on the bottom floor smelled moldy. The overall grounds were lovely..

Hotel in a great location with lovely grounds, used both pools, both ok but not heated at time of stay, no sauna or steam room , Room had to ask for bathroom to be cleaned upon arrival .which was done very quickly . Used the bar area lovely and the restaurant which was nice ,food was nice Staff was polite
