Great family run B&BPosted Jun 5, 2011 on Hotels.com
Wheelwrights Cornwell B&B is a nice friendly, family run B&B. Double Room was within family home and very spacious with large ensuite. No TV in bedroom but access was available to a small TV room. Location was great for those looking to visit Charlestown, and with the Eden project and the Lost gardens of Heligan only a small drive away. Pricing was very reasonable. Convenient car parking was available on the street just in front of the B&B. Would definitely recommend.

Shame about the damp!Posted Apr 13, 2011
We booked a non-ensuite room to save a bit of money, but were given the ensuite on arrival for the same price as it was still available.... I knew that pigeon pooing on my shoulder down at the harbour would bring good luck! The room was spacious and comfortable as was the ensuite, but there was a slight feeling and odour of damp in the bedroom and the shower handle fell off immediately upon use! Easily fixed but not what you'd expect! The breakfast cooked by the hubby was lovely, fresh and tasty. Beautiful poached eggs! Although it wasn't perfect, the comfort of the big room and the location, just steps from the lovely harbour, make up for the shortcomings.
