Great Location, a bit dated look ok for short stayPosted Nov 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
I stayed in single bed room which was seriously tiny, barely space between bed and the wall, bathroom was quite tiny too which I guess it justifies price I paid... There was small selection of teas and kettle in the room which was nice. I would recomend this place just for a night max two if you are really not fussy about room size and modern sophisticated look since fabrics and style of the hostel are quite dated. The lady who runs the B&B was nice and helpful, breakfast was Ok.

Place to sleepPosted Oct 27, 2013
Pros: Good breakfast
Cons: The cleanliness
Location: The train and bus station was very close. Nice walk along the coastline. Small shopping street up the road. Pubs very close too.
Comfortable bed and a good breakfast. Close to the train and bus station. But the room wasn't that clean and there was a damp smell in the bathroom. Ok for a short stay.

Pros: Covenience and not overpriced.
Location: Near to good birdwatching areas and also Lands end and the Minnick theatre
This Bed and Breakfast is very convenient to Penzance station and to connect with Skybus for the Isles of Scilly. The owner is very welcoming and the breakfast was good.

Good location, close to train and bus station, as well as the main streets of Penzance. Good hospitality, it felt like the owners really took care of their guests.

I really appreciated the fridge in the room, the parkings space and the welcoming attitude of the owner. I would definately stay again (for the third time) and recommend to others.

Friendly, welcoming hostess. More than adequate accomodation. Good breakfast. Prime location but not too noisy.

OK for an overnight stayPosted Jul 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
Slightly run-down but clean and welcoming. Right on the A30, so quite noisy and on a hot night it was essential to keep a window open. Good breakfast. The surrounding area of Penzance is very bleak, inhabited in the evening largely by bored teenagers.

Absolutely acceptablePosted Jun 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
In a nutshell, this is a cheap, friendly, and well located guesthouse that is not stunning 5*, but isn't trying to be. It is very close to the station, run by friendly, approachable yet not overly talkative hosts who seem genuinely nice people. I use it a staging post on my trip from the North to the Scillies and I'd have no problem using them again. If you're on a budget, and looking for a central, friendly B&B in Penzance - this probably isn't a bad choice.

Handy B&B for Trains & FerriesPosted Jun 24, 2013
Pros: Convenient Location
Cons: Pretty basic
This Bed & Breakfast is ideal if you want one close to the train station or ferry terminus and don't want to pay a high price for a room. However, East Terrace isn't marked on any map so you may struggle to find it. It is situated directly opposite the train station on the main road if you are coming into Penzance from the west by car or train. The Isles of Scilly ferry terminal is 10 minutes walk. The staff were very friendly and pleasant.

Good Value Budget AccommodationPosted May 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is budget accommodation situated centrally in Penzance very close to railway & bus stations. Don't expect luxury. The facilities are basic but the welcome is warm and the service good.
