The rooms were not properly maintained. There was damage to the garbage disposal, walls, shower, and there was no smoke detector. When we informed maintenance staff they did not take it seriously. Manager threatened to have my spouse forcibly removed for respectfully requesting a refund. We tried 3 rooms and none of them were safe. We had to go above the manager to receive proper customer service and basic respect. Front staff understood but couldn't help. Will NEVER stay here again. It was an overall outrageous experience. Thank you to the manager that actually helped us.

So first off, I’d like to say the staff were nice. Beds were decent looking. But when I did a walk through of the hotel as I do any hotel, I found a previous guest “wash cloths”. Not just 1 but 2. You can tell the shower curtains are not changed. I found pink mold on the curtains. The walls in the rooms and bathrooms were just dirty and need a wipe. Thankfully I always bring my own cleaning supplies and wiped what I could down.

Pet friendly, pay why u stay , usually pretty quiet at night except this last week.. breakfast could be better and there was no coffee by 8:30

We enjoyed our stay at Captain’s Quarters Inn very much! It was basic and supplied all of our needs. The location was perfect to visit all of our favorite spots in Port A. The staff was very helpful and helped with everything we needed. We will consider staying here again in the future.

We really enjoyed this stay, The room was large, had the best shower taken on the 6 night trip we took. When we go to Port Aransas again, we will stay there again.

Would not recommend. Facility was fine, motel style. Other guests inebriated trying to access our locked room, parting outside their room, hotel staff unable to control their guests. Terrible experience

Comfortable and Affordable
It’s not fancy, but it worked well for what we wanted. Allowing pets was a necessity, and they both approved! We wouldn’t hesitate to return. The only thing I missed was a Kleenex box. We loved the Belgian waffle machine at breakfast!

This an older property but it is well maintained. The rooms were clean and cozy and the beds were comfortable. Our check-in was a bit chaotic though. Our room was given to someone else with the same last name. But the staff after making a few phone calls were able to place us in another room. But then as we were sleeping we were awaken to the sound of water dripping from the ceiling in the bathroom. Soon there was standing water in the bath area. Again, the staff worked diligently to place us in another room. Our stay at Captain's Quarters Inn was an eventful one, but due to the friendly staff, the cleanliness and comfort of the property, and the great price, we will be visiting again.
