Good ExperiencePosted Sep 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
I only spent one night which it was good for the price. Clerks were attentive, helped me with picking a restaurant and directions. Room is big which had refrigerator and microwave, 2 queen beds for 4 people. Our room had title so it was cleaner when you are coming from the beach. Location is convenience which is close to the ferry, restaurants, convenience store and beach by car 3-5 minutes. Lobby needs to be cleaner, needs some maintenance: room doors and stairs need some paint. Continental breakfast was good: bagels, cereal, milk, juice, bread, and waffles.

Over all was deffinatly worth the price on such short notice. Not to far from beach fishing night life or food. Nice central location.

GrossPosted Aug 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
Upgraded large tile and flat screen tv doesn't matter if you don't have a clean room. The grout and baseboards were covered in dirt. The room felt so unclean I never took off my sandal except in the bed, which had scratchy sheets. The breakfast had waffles, cereal and basic pastries with no juice or water. The small pool was refreshing.

Hotel was not near the beach or shopping areas.Posted Aug 19, 2013
Pros: The breakfast was fine.
Cons: As a whole the entire place needs a total make over in repairs and daily maintance. The balcony floor was cracked and shock when walked on, railing
Location: It was close to the ferry and a gift shop and DQ.
Hotel was in poor repair, unkept lawn areas, pool was cloudy, never did see a room attendent on any of the mornings we were there. However the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was well stocked. Our room had lights the did not work, the floor was tile and upon entering felt like a fine layer of sand covered it. The ice machine and vending area/hut was poorly lite and ice machine was not working properly. The fish pond directly outside the hut was dry and filled with debris. In short it was ok and people who stay were friendly, but in the end I would not recomend it. I will look for something closer and cleaner near the beach area and shopping center area.

Remodeled rooms-need to remodel staff.Posted Aug 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
It looks like the rooms have been renovated and updated, they look really good! However the staff was very young and unprofessional, smoking and being inappropriate with each other. They did not know how to check me in, it was a bit frustrating. I was disappointed with how unprofessional they were and felt extremely uncomfortable around them.

Definately will stay again!Posted Aug 9, 2013
Pros: Awesome bed!! We had a king size and wanted to take it home with us. Also loved that we could bring our dog
Cons: Wish the clerk mentioned the continental breakfast at check-in
Location: 1st hotel from the ferry and the pier where the fishing boats leave from. Real central to everything.
Nice place. No, it's not the Ritz but worth the $$. Yes, the frig may have had a faint smell of fish, but come on, you're on an island/in a town that is famous for it's fishing!! The king size bed was so comfty that we didn't want to get out, but had to..we only had 1 day for the beach and then we had to head back to Austin. Didn't realize there was continental breakfast until day 2, but it's from 6-9am and that's too early for me.
