And yes we do have pet friendly rooms!Posted Oct 20, 2013
Cons: Staff attitude, room cleanliness, update card key system, and train employees to deal with the public more properly.
I verified twice with this place my room was what I was asking for and ready. I get there and they don't know anything about me. Had to take the last available "pet friendly" room they had. MISTAKE! That room was well used and smelled like dog as soon as I walked in. The door key constantly needed to be re coded for entry. The first evening, a staff member knocked on my door and asked me If I was smoking Pot and could he come in to check for himself. I smelled it when I opened the door to see who it was. I let him search and he didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. Almost as if he thought I was lying and hiding "my stash!" The ac in the room would not keep up and it stayed muggy. I will not be staying here again!

Not too expensive; good hotel for the price.Posted Sep 9, 2013
Pros: Good to have an indoor/outdoor pool, game room excellent when traveling with teenagers, weight/exercise room. Staff are very nice/attentive.
Cons: Continental breakfast could be better. Carpeting replacement would be uplifting. Amenities equal to #guests.
Location: I really didn't see anything exciting to do close by.
The location was just what I wanted; quiet & not too crowded. I think the continental breakfast should be better plus not allowed to take to the room to eat it.

TravelodgePosted Sep 3, 2013
Cons: Staff - very slow. Took an hour to get checked in and had already payed for the room on line.
Location is not the best. Don't let the looks of the place dissuade you. Not the prettest site, but the room was o.k. It is passable if you are just using it to sleep in while in town.

Very unclean place, with bad smell through out. Asked for nonsmoking room smelt like smoke plus room was between 2 smoking rooms. WHO does that!?!! The place would be nice if it had a good cleaning & upgrades

Just a quick stay last minPosted Jul 27, 2013
Cons: Clean rooms better and properly!
We asked for an extra clean room since there were no more non-smoking available.... we got an extra dirty room! Was sad to see huge stains on the wall.

clean placePosted Jul 15, 2013
Pros: thick towels, clean bathroom
Cons: a/c is not cool enough during the day. Raised the high of the shower head
Room was clean, lots of thick towels, friendly staff-- a/c was a little weak. -- note- the shower head is too low.

For the price, it will doPosted Jul 15, 2013
Pros: The price
Cons: New bricks around pool. Newer AC's.
Location: Location was nice, little out of the way but liked that. Went to Texas State Aquarium, the Mall, out to eat and sight seeing.
The hotel is old and little run down. The pool needs new bricking. The rooms were nice enough, though the AC did not cool properly. For the price I might stay again
