Will NEVER stay at this place again!!!!Posted May 12, 2015
I'm calling corp. today! The girl at the front desk norma or Naomi (I can't remember which one) was so rude Thursday night to me and the ladies at Expedia when I was trying to change my date...... When I arrived at the hotel a lady name Tiffany checked me and I was venting to her and then she brought out a manager who was rude! They put us in a room that the AC didn't work then the manager showed me two other rooms where the AC didn't work! Room 117 had mold in it and they gave me a fan for the night...... Never ever apologized or offered me compensation!

Awesome location!Posted May 11, 2015
Pros: The bed was so soft and fluffy! The pool and spa were clean and working great!
Cons: There are snacks in the lobby that cost a dollar, but there is no sign. The wifi doesnt work in the rooms and the hallways are kinda warm.
Location: The fairy to Port A is so close. Popeyes next door and pizza is delivered. Very relaxing!
My kids and I had the best time at this hotel. The gym, pool, spa, and everything worked great! The wifi isn't good in the rooms. You get a big fridge and stove top. We loved it and plan to go back in a few weeks!

Very nice hotel and very courteous staff!!Posted Apr 20, 2015
The staff was very courteous and accommodating. The room cleaning staff were very nice and accommodating. The front desk staff (Maria, Norma and Tiffany) were super nice and helpful!!! The room (#354) was quite large compared to modern hotels!! The room was very clean and the bed pillows were very very comfortable. The bed itself was also really comfortable. The duvet and linens were very nice as well as the towels. The full size refrigerator was very nice and clean. There was a microwave oven, coffee pot, a two burner countertop stove and a dishwasher. There were select-a-size paper towels on the dispenser, and not the really thin cheap stuff! There was actually a thermostat on the wall to control room temperature; not the usual knob on the window/wall unit. Lighting in the room was great. The room view was very nice. It had two really large windows and across the street were several very very nice homes with large yards and detached garages. Had metal roof on the homes and garages. Breakfast was fair, only because the self-use waffle makers (2) would not fully cook the inside of your waffle no matter how long it was left inside the iron. There were eggs, sausage, biscuits, orange and apple juice, and fruit to chose from as well. The owners were there in the morningtime and I had s pleasant chat with K. D. It was a very nice experience overall !!! I would definitely repeat it again!!

Great locationPosted Mar 30, 2015
Great location and good breakfast however the hotel said it was smoke free and our room smelt like cigarettes when I called down to the front desk they told me I could spray it with fabreeze but that is all they could do. Also the rooms had water damage and were in bad shape but the beds were comfortable.

We Were DisappointedPosted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: We liked the bed and we like the breakfast available to the guests. the lobby and hallways were very clean.
Cons: The front desk staff could use some customer service re-training. The housekeeping quality needs to be followed up on. The supervisor should inspect.
Location: The location is great since it is close to fishing and boating. There is a big gas station nearby and a grocery store which are both very convenient.
We have stayed at this hotel many times, but this time we were disappointed. Not sure if they have had a change in management or they were still recovering from Spring Break. It started off bad and just got worse. We prefer to stay on the first floor for personal reason but a room was not available. The girl told me that that was all they had. Besides she added "we do have an elevator." We went to our room on the third floor and they room looked like it hadn't been used for a while and had a musty smell. The couch arm was torn badly like an animal had torn into it and it had several stains. The kitchen sink had some white powder residue and several hairs. I called downstairs to report, and the girl asked me if I wanted my money back or another room. I took the other room. That was better but there was a big dead roach next to the toilet. The shower had hairs in it. Right before we checked out, the toilet almost overflowed! This was my favorite hotel in Aransas Pass. I hope they work on doing better.
