“Very Disappointing”
It is an old outdated motel that needs completely remodeled. The towels and washcloths were stained and almost a thick as my handkerchief. I wouldn't recommend this motel to anyone.
“Great Getaway for a low price”
My husband and I went to Corpus on business and turned the weekend into a mini vacation for cheap so I found this room. Even though some of the other reviews were'nt so great they were wrong. This place not only had a magnificent view but the staff was friendly and the rooms were great. The bathrooms including the showers were well kept for an older building and as another review said the AC blows so cold. This isnt a 5 start hotel however it is great for a low budget. There are only 2nd n 3rd floor so it may not be convientent for anyone handicap. The pool n pool area is nice and the room is a short walk away from the beach. The hotel is also convienently located a few minutes from the corpus christi seawall which is a beautiful site. hope this helps we definetly plan to go back with our kids
“Not really impressed.”
The price was decent, but you also get what you pay for as well. It's a one star hotel indeed and it's about 1 mile to the attraction areas like the USS Lex and the other areas. You can find closer hotels if you are not in the walking and exercising mood. It depends on what you are looking for in a vacation package.
“Next time I will be willing to pay more!”
My room was sorta clean and the hotel was located near several Corpus Christi attractions. Thus ends the positive aspects of my stay here. One of the lamps had a broken shade, it was a constant struggle to make sure the curtains stayed closed, and the prints hanging on the wall had mildew stains. We stayed three nights two days and one of the days they didn't even bother to clean the room and bring in more towels even though I was very sure to take the 'do not disturb' sign off the door. The walls were thin and since my room overlooked the pool we could hear everything people were saying in the pool, which apparently stays open late into the night. And there was a flag clanging on a flagpole the entire time.
“Ghetto Hotel”
Well for starters, the moment we got there and just opened our doors we had 3 beach bums approach us and not leave us alone and out room was just above where we parked. It was very uncomfortable and irritated me with that being the first experience I get from this hotel. The only thing that this hotel had going for it is that the air conditioner is really good. It gets the room very cold but that is really it. The restroom was ok the light above the sink was very very dim it would even at times not even come on with the switch and I would need to try switching it on literally 3-4 times before there would be good enough lighting. The shower head was very low and I am only 5'4" and I even bumped my head on the shower head!! That was a first for me to be too tall for the shower. Along with that I would have the shower knob turned ALL the way to hot and my showers were cool to luke warm. I am someone who needs to have hot water to shower with to relax myself and that hotel did not have any. I could hear my neighbors fighting through the walls and I was able to hear them word for word. It was just a bad experience and no comfort there at all while my stay there. If you just need somewhere to sleep and don't care much for the hotel water being cold, lighting is dim, than it is for you. But if you like to be comfortable even when you need to sleep than this is not the place. What a horrible place to stay at and I really would recommend going elsewhere that there.
“Needs a better complimentary breakfast”
The hotel wasn't bad for the location of it. The pool was very nice and the room had a smell to it. I guess the only complaint I have about this hotel is the breakfast, they only had cereal and muffins. They need to invest in a pancake machine. But I would go back.
“Great for Weekend Getaways”
I have to admit when we arrived, the exterior of the hotel made me wonder if I had made an error in judgment when I booked the Knight's Inn for our 2nd honeymoon getaway. The location was right across from the beach and we were pleasantly surprised once we checked in and stepped inside our room. It was clean with plenty of space and contained a refrigerator, microwave, hair dryer and iron. The beds were comfortable and the shower temperature was ideal. The balcony had a nice view of the beach and the U.S.S. Lexington. The area was fairly quiet even with other hotels, restaurants and gift shops near by. A gas station across the street was convenient for stocking up on items we needed. The staff was courteous and prompt. The toiletries were sparse and left a lot to be desired so I recommend bringing your own shampoo, soap, toothpaste, and such. I also recommend booking a lower floor if stairs are an issue as they have no elevators. The pool is small but clean and well-kept. Overall, it completely met our needs for a nice weekend getaway and we had a great time. We have already recommended it to another couple and would definitely stay there again.
“Fun time”
We had a wonderful time. The closeness to the beach was wonderful and the price is hard to beat.
“Good for the Money”
The hotel is not the greatest and we got worried about some of the people lurking around but we did not have any issues. The upside about this place is that it is within walking distance to the beach and we had a balcony overlooking the ocean. For the value, it was a great place. We will be back.
“You get what you pay for :)”
If you'r looking for a luxery hotel this isn't the one for you. Breakfast is not continental it is cereal and danishes, bathroom is super small, needs updates and for my taste could have been cleaner the microwave smelled like fish (cleaned it out and the smell went away though). ON the plus side SUPER NICE EMPLOYEES, great view of the ocean (3rd floor), clean pool, great location if your site seeing and our room had fridge. Again if your staying here because you'r going to be stuck in the room the whole time this isn't the place for you if you'r staying because your out site seeing and enjoying C.C on a budget this is for you!
