Staff was fabulous! Incredibly happy environment! So nice to be around folks that apparently are enjoying their job.

Comfortable room and nice little seating areas in lobby. We were very unhappy with the brunch Sunday morning. Food was not refreshed platters were empty or picked over, food was cold and not very tasty. Under staffed or staff not able to correct problems.

The hotel room had an excellent view of the bayfront, USS Lexington and the bridge. The bed spring was not very comfortable. I would prefer something that was more firm. The housekeeping staff did a great job. The only problem was that the hotel swimming pool is too small for a 20 floor hotel. It was always overcrowded, so we could not use it. But they said that one could use the bigger old Omni hotel pool which is just a block away. I did not try to do that, but its good that they had an option available. The paid parking gets full if you return after 9 pm at the night, but they have an alternative arrangement nearby which they said was patrolled by their security. The location was excellent. One can walk to the bayfront and catch the ferry to the USS Lexington and aquarium which are a must see. Its better than driving and trying to find parking. Overall an excellent place and I highly recommend it.

“Great Hotel, Worst Valets”

The 5s are self-explanatory. Overall, the hotel was great. I had to give a 3 for staff, because a 4 made it look like it was better than it was. Let me clarify. The majority of the staff we encountered were friendly, helpful, and what you would expect from staying at an Omni. However, their valet experience was miserable. I drive a car with a manual transmission, which a valet proceeded to get in and immediately kill the engine. He expressed no apologies and actually laughed as he started driving off. I have had some terrible experiences with valets in the past, which didn't help this incident. After not stopping after I yelled for him (the windows were down) I had to run after him on foot to get him to stop. I immediately expressed my extreme dissatisfaction with the situation to a manager, telling him that there is no reason one of the top hotels in Corpus should have incompetent valets driving cars they are unable to drive. He comped my valet fee, which I believe was $15 or so, and we went our separate ways. The next morning, as we were leaving, I was getting my car, and a different valet drove it in. He had to park it on the ramp and have another valet get in, I guess because he was incapable of driving it up the slope, as he was stopped in line due to some traffic .The second valet then proceeded to spin my tires as he drove it 15 feet forward for us to load our luggage and get in. Summary: Great hotel, AWFUL valets. I would give the valets a negative 10 if I could.

“Family Friendly even pets...”

The Staff was exceptional and the valet guys were awesome, never had to wait on the vechile, the coffee at the gift shop was perfect..The kids enjoyed the pool and popcorn even tho the water was icy cold...

Covered parking and security was a plus for us. The Balcony view was beautiful. The food and wait staff were awesome and we give it five gold stars! Overall the visit was excellent.

“Great View! Great Service!”

We stayed at the Bayfront location (which is a lot nicer then the Marina location). The Bayfront Omni has two good restraunts and a very nice staff. The view from our room was of Ocean Drive and we could see the yachts parked at the marina. The room was large and clean (we had a King room). Bed was a little too soft for us. Plenty of free parking. Pool was half outdoor and half indoor. My husband liked the exercise center. There is a cardio room and a seperate weight room. This is the best place to stay in downtown! Will definately go back!
