“Great place to stay in Cortez”

A great place to stay. Even the coffee in the lobby was good. The staff was courteous, and the room looked and smelled clean. On the back of the hotel, there is a nice big deck with tables, umbellas, and chairs, with a nice view of the mountains. The indoor pool was enjoyable, and as a result, busy. (A few early or late hours designated for adults only would be nice.) My husband found a great bike ride in the area behind the hotel and met friendly natives. We liked the hotel so much on our trip to Denver that we stayed there again on our way back home.

“Quick 2 day stay with kids.”

Our biggest issue is that the BAYMONT sign was not visible at night. They are in the process of converting from a Comfort hotel...and it still showed the old name AT NIGHT. Daytime you can see the Baymont sign. Room was spacious enough for the 4 of us. INDOOR Heated pool and spa was a great added value for late evening relaxing.. Breakfast bar was about average. All in all, pretty good for the price. Would easily recommend and stay there again.

“Great Views”

We reserved room via expedia from the road. Front desk had everything ready. Based on advice from lady at tourist info center we asked for a room on an upper floor. These rooms were recently remodel and were in great condition. I would also suggest the back side as it offers a great view. Breakfast was very good. We would stay here again if we return to Mesa Verde.

“A great place to stay”

I think this is a great place to stay. The city connects the (Arches NP+Canyonlands NP) and the Mesa Verde NP. If you are a NP lovers, this city can offer you the best!! The hotel itself is much better than the ones you can find in Moab.

“Stay here if in Cortez”

What a place. For the price, one would be hard pressed to find anything better. I was lucky and the property was not very full and, therefore, received a room with a wonderful view of the adjacent mountains. Easy access to US 160 and literally a hop, skip, and jump from Mesa Verda NP. If in the area, I doubt you will find anything to top the Baymount.
