I was travelling across the US with my family visiting the most interesting National Parks. The hotel was just what I expected and needed. A nice place not far from the Park.

Great view of Mesa Verde!Posted Sep 11, 2014
Pros: The view.
Cons: People were loud outside of our room late at night and early in the morning.
Location: Visit Mesa Verde, the 4 corners, and other archeological ruins. Very close to Utah.
We spent the night in Cortez after spending the day at Mesa Verde. Loved the view. The front desk worker recommended the best Mexican restaurant ever! It was a very nice hotel.

Room was very clean and pleasant.Posted Sep 2, 2014
Cons: The parking lot had many potholes that needed to be filled in.
Location: Mesa Verde, Shiloh steak house
I reserved the room two days before my visit and it was a very fair price. The room was clean and comfortable. The beds were very nice and the overall feel was exactly what I expected. The staff was very pleasant and the breakfast was more than a continental breakfast. Nice location in the town and very convenient if you are visiting Mesa Verde. I would recommend this hotel to my friends. Just watch out for the potholes in the parking lot.

Comfortable place to stay near Mesa Verde!Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Room was great except for the double heating lamps in the bathroom. And the free continental breakfast had lots of options.
Cons: One of the heating lamps in the bathroom needs to be changed out for a regular light to avoid it being too hot, & the breakfast should be fresher.
Location: So close to Mesa Verde Nat'l Park, and not too far from Durango. Great location!
It was a very nice place to hang up our hiking boots, close enough to Mesa Verde to start our second day there with not much of a drive.

Worn furnishings, but cleanPosted Aug 23, 2014
Location: mesa verde. excellent. spend all day there if possible
we found the room clean, but very worn furnishings. paint was peeling outside. i think next time i would consider a couple extra bucks and stay at the holiday inn express next door.

Dirty and in need of repairsPosted Aug 20, 2014
The indoor pool water was cloudy. Many things in the room need repair. The desk table was in rough shape, faucets were not working properly, toilet flush handle broken, tile dirty. Just a number of little things that made this a disappointing stay.

Cortez COPosted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: quiet, okay breakfast, nice bed.
Location: Close to Mesa Verde and many other outdoor experiences.
I like this hotel. It's a bit expensive but even when it's full the rooms are quiet. It is suppose to be a non smoking hotel but the first room we got smelled like someone had been smoking in it. The staff gave us another room which was clean and didn't smell. I think that the summer rates are too expensive for what you get.

Hotel facilityPosted Aug 12, 2014
Bed covers were old and dirty. Pool was cloudy and smelled. Guest we're swimming in street cloths. B-fast was fair. We rented a none smoking room which smelled like stall old smoke.
