“Good for bigger families”

Older hotel, but nice separate sleeping area for the kids. We had a problem with the t.v. and they were very quick to respond and take care of the issue. Breakfast was ok, but the same everyday. At least there was hard boiled eggs to offset all the carbohydrates. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this motel and would stay again if we were in the area.

“Basic Motel”

Good: rooms came with a refrigerator and microwave. Bed was reasonably comfortable. Price was very affordable. Bad: Floors were thin, pillows were hard as a rock, room was noisy (to road traffic) - we ran the air conditioner to muffel sound. Entry door didn't fit in opening very well (daylight all around). Breakfast was all carbs. Not much to lobby.

“One night was enough”

Unable to find another room elsewhere, we accepted this one. The chain usually has a decent reputation. The facilities are old. The carpet was old and worn as were the bed spreads. Two chairs were too wobbly to use. No doubt had been used for luggage racks since there were none in the room & we were not about to put our luggage on the floor. Bathroom sink was in the room close to a bed, bathroom very small. The breakfast was okay.Really good Mexican food restaurant next door. We had planned on two nights there but left after one night. Since we prefer to stay at a Best Western, perhaps our expectations for a clean room & bath were not realistic for a Days Inn.

“Adequate”

Very basic, a place to sleep if you need one on your journey but it is not a destination in itself. It's a little worn down and could use a remodel, but it was fairly clean all things considered.

“Not acceptable lodging”

Our room was filthy. Most notably the carpet which was the dirtiest we've ever encountered.

Area recommendations
We wanted to stay close to the area where we had planned activites for a couple of days. Although the location was convenient, the condition of this hotel was very disappointing. We sincerely considered finding another hotel but we stuck it out since we had prepaid for our room.

“Room condition marginal, breakfast good”

Interior of this small room was extremely old. The maid did a good job with what she had to work with but the carpet felt unclean and needed to be replaced. On the positive side the Internet connection was quick and the breakfast offered a wide variety of selections to include waffles.

“Breakfast was good”

Breakfast was good. No problems with hotel or staff. Room was average. Didn't utilize amenities beside breakfast due to a late arrival and early departure.

“Old hotel but was clean”

You could tell the hotel has been around for a longtime, but the staff was nice and the room was clean. The pool was nice, which was important since kids on the trip.

Eat breakfast at Jack and Janelle's Country Kitchen, they have an excellent breakfast and very clean!

“Mesa Verde trip”

The rooms were fairly standard. Beds were comfortable and continental breakfast was decent. The service was incrediably poor. The front desk staff was not knowledgable about the area, restaraunts, or room accomadations. We had no towels, soap, or klennex in the room. The wireless internet was poor and not usable most of the time. Our over all experience was poor. Go down the street 1/2 mile to better hotels.

“Good hotel for the price.”

Rooms were big and very clean. Breakfast was good. There was nothing fancy about it but for a vacation with the kids -a good place to stay!
