Value for money

Posted Jul 27, 2015
Nothing special, but good value for money if you pay around 50 dollars like we did. There was even a simple breakfast (coffee, bagels, toast). The staff was very nice and had some pointers about nearby points of interest.

Terrible, dirty hotel

Posted Jun 20, 2015
The sheets had yellow stains and looked flithy, there were hairs on the pillow case. We slept on top of top sheet because I didn't feel sheets were clean. Black hairs in and around the sink. A dirty, used towel was hanging on the bathroom door. The towels are dingy and thread bare. The door to room is not secure. Parking is tight. I could not understand a word the clerk behind the desk said.

Don't do it.

Location is good, for Cortez. Room was disgusting! It smelled like someone lived in there with cats and dogs. Stains on sheets and chairs. I slept in my sleeping bag.

Reserve with eyes open

Older hotel that needs cleaning & updating. Good, inexpensive choice if you don't mind dirty carpets, worn furniture & dirty bathroom. Owner was quite pleasant. Owner informed us that he was the new owner who was working on updates & improvements which we could see happening. @ the current time, if you need a place for 1 night it would work but don't expect much. Continental breakfast was meager: white bread, a jar of peanut butter, a jar of jam, juice & coffee. We wouldn't stay here again until improvements are made.

construction on hotel(mainly parking area)

Posted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: not at all
Cons: you should wait until construction is over.
there were huge construction on this hotel, and owner shouldn't let people to stay here. Its obviously not ready for stay. the construction are mainly at parking area, which directly passes to hotel room, you may have to park at outside of hotel. The morning we stayed, exit of parking area were dumped with huge amount of sand and we couldn't pass threw and had to wait for half hour until workers removed them.

Biggest hotel bathroom I've ever had.

Posted Jan 13, 2015
Pros: Very affordable, easy to book, and clean.
Cons: The heater did not stop heating the room at the desired temperature so it got pretty warm. And one of the outlets did not work.
Location: convenient for visiting Mesa Verde
This hotel has potential however, it needs more investment in infrastructure. Otherwise, it was functional and clean.

Not bad

Posted Jan 12, 2015
Location: Very cute town with lots of shops nearby
I expected this place to be worse than it was. I've stayed in much dirtier rooms than this for more money. Lots of hot water. Lady at the counter was very nice. I'd stay here again.

Older furnishings but functional amenities.

Am older place, but functional - wifi, frig with freezer and microwave, with a mostly working coin laundry.
