Not Fancy, but Comfortable and Cheap

Posted Apr 28, 2015
Pros: Beds were very comfortable, room was clean.
Cons: No help with luggage and only one small, poky elevator.
Only stayed one night on weekend trip. Rates were very reasonable. Room was standard American hotel with a view out over an empty lot. Building interior and exterior are a little worn and tired, but very clean. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was very clean, and the TV worked - what more do you need?

Pros: none
Cons: all
Terrible hotel, as soon as you walk into the lobby a horrible smell hits you that resembles natural gas combined with urine, feces, and who knows what else ! The poor staff were very nice though, I feel bad for them !

It was in a nice location, tucked back from main road, with a great restaurant in front of the hotel. Clean, and Comfortable great for the price.

Pros: The staff was nice.
Cons: Everything.
The location is great for visiting OSU. The place was a dive. The floors squeaked. The plumbing was extreremly loud. The walls paper thin. Poor kid next door was and puking all night and could hear everything. Could feel the springs of the bed. Not recommended.

Dirty and broken

Posted Apr 11, 2015
Pros: It seemed like a safe location. Good Thai food near by.
Cons: The management.
The room smelled like pet urin and baby powder. The curtains were partially off their tracks, so they hung with big gaps. The towel rack was ripped out of the wall. The sink faucet dripped. The TV remote control had chewing tobacco stuck between the keys. The wifi was so slow, it was useless. the sitting chair was completely stained.

Older hotel in need of updating but pleasant staff

Posted Apr 5, 2015
The Days Inn Corvallis is clearly in need of updating and/or a significant remodel, but the front desk staff were pleasant and helpful at check-in and it met my needs for a one night stay related to a triathlon in Corvallis the next day. I'd consider staying here again if the price were right, but the property would definitely benefit from updating (the bathrooms were very dated - vinyl flooring looked 20 years old, the light fixtures and furniture were overdue for replacement as well). I'd recommend this place to someone looking for very basic, clean lodging at a mid level economy price.

Avoided the place except to sleep.

Pros: Did not stay around long enough to find out. The housekeeping lady was nice and helpful when I asked a couple of questions.
Cons: Tear down the building and build a new one.
Desk clerk was completely unable to give decent directions from motel to our desired destination. When I asked her, she pointed her extended arm and said "in that direction". The TV did not work and the telephone was in operable. They finally changed us to another room that also smelled like disinfectant. I had to put my foot against the top of the tub to generate enough leverage to open the shower faucet.

In town for conference

Posted Mar 2, 2015
Pros: Staff were nice. Location easy.
Cons: All interior updates. Get rid of carpets.
Hotel was quite run down. Carpeting throughout halls and rooms disgusting. Peeling baseboards and carpet tacking. Our door's sweep was hanging off. "Breakfast" gross. Styrofoam used (a big no-no in this day and age). However, staff were pleasant. Bed was not terribly uncomfortable. Sheets and blankets were of poor quality. Bathroom looked clean.
