“Getting what you pay for...”

The hotel shares a parking lot with an adult bookstore and the Oregon State Police. Staff spends most of its time away from front desk, usually socializing with family members. Food was passable, but not memorable. Did not receive room maintenance on third night of stay. If want just a place to crash, this is okay. our room was rigth over the pool, so we were entertained by screaming children until 11:00 pm. I can understand why they charge your credit card up front for the entire stay!

“Will surely return.”

We stayed on our way to a football game. We were more than satisfied. We asked for a room away from the freeway and were given one. The staff was pleasant and helpful. We had our dog with us and paid an extra $15.00 for her which we felt was reasonable.

“Right on the Highway”

Litteraly right on the highway! One parking lot, a shoulder of grass and traffic. It was very close and easy on and off. Every thing was beautiful, every thing was very clean,the bathroom was perfect, the heater/fan was not too loud or obnoxious and the hot breakfast was delicious. The negative was I specifically asked the night clerk for 'QUITE". You see we live out in the country with out anyone close to us. I sleep with my window open most nights and only hear an occasional dog or coyote, so sleeping with my window closed and the fan on to help get rid of the traffice noise was just too much. The constant fan noise was irratating, and I could still hear traffic.. constant traffic. The hotel was perfect an I learned a valuable lesson, sleep on the parking lot side of a hotel. ps, the bed was too soft, and I am sure that contributed to not enough sleep.

“Very Nice”

I have a daughter going to OSU, the Phoenix Inn in Albany is a great place to stay when I go up to see her. It's conveniently located, clean, quiet and has a great breakfast!

“questionable location”

Comfortable hotel but over priced and location was marginal...Motels in same vicinity were twenty to thirty dollars cheaper and in a better location. We over looked an adult book store. Not a great sight...

“Very nice hotel”

Overall, it was a very pleasant hotel, they accept pets for an additional $10 a night, which is a plus. There is a HUGE park just about a mile away, w/ a large pond and place for everyone to play. The staff was very friendly & accommodating. Our room was what you would expect for the rate, and we have no complaints. Also the breakfast area beat out the restaurant in the parking lot! We will definitely stay again.

Outdoors or beach

Timber-Linn park is just a mile away, it has a large pond and seemed to be pet friendly. There is picnic areas, a ball field & horse shoe pits.
