Close to downtown and not far from OSU.

Pros: The location and it had a nice tv.
Cons: The room atmosphere was like staying in a very low class motel. One night as a sleeping place would probably be fine. I guess you get what you pay for
Location: There are some great restaurants and small locally owned shops nearby
Our room was extremely hot and had a horrible smell when we got in at 10:00 pm. It did not feel very clean.

Several items in the room were dirty & obviously not replaced since previous guests. We honestly didn't try the pool because we wondered, if the room was that dirty, what was the pool like? We didn't want to know.

Good Location; Not Well Kept UP

Posted Jun 4, 2014
Pros: location
Cons: needs to be brightened up;
Location: Walk along riverfront & enjoy restaurants Shop i Visit Art Center Madison Ave & 7t
The hotel is located near to downtown Corvallis and the Riverfront walkway can be used from the motel to the main part of the city. If your visit involves only downtown appointments, there is no need to drive. The hotel itself is a bit shop-worn and dingy. The room had the normal levels of cleanliness and comfort. Breakfast was OK but very basic.

Book somewhere else if possible

Posted May 31, 2014
Pros: Super cheap and a great location
Cons: The beds were very hard and lumpy. Sheets were rough. Towels were very small, thin, and course. Air conditioning did not cool down the room.
Location: The location is great, right on the river. Plenty of great places to eat within a few blocks.
When we pulled up, the front desk attendant was outside smoking. The elevator made me nervous with the noise and slow action. The common areas smell of smoke. We were so uncomfortable in the area for the "continental breakfast" that we didn't even grab a yogurt to go. Do not plan on eating here. The only reason we booked here was there was no where else in town available.

Pros: Didn't get to use it but surprisely there was a microwave and mini fridge in our room. Hotel was in a good spot. Hotel has a pool and hot tub.
Location: McMenamins, Dutch bros, paneer bread
When I was originally looking for a place, I was hoping to find a decently priced place and a relatively clean room. Super 8 seemed like it would be okay.... However, the person who checked me in wasn't very friendly, didn't really talk much. Handed me the keys without telling me the room. When I got to the room, I thought "seems like a basis room". However, once kinda looking around, I felt like this place was probably not clean at all. I found a used towel in the bathroom, a spider crawling on the wall, and kinda just got a general feeling this room was not clean. Luckily for me, I brought a blanket from home and ended up sleeping on top of the bed (rock hard & uncomfortable) using my own blanket. lesson learned... It is probably worth spending a little extra money on a better room.

Big Volleyball Tournament,

Posted May 18, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: They knew there was a tournament plan ahead. Replace ugly towels with clean ones. Be friendly at the front desk take a shower.
Location: OSU Tournament, Volleyball over 1200 kids plus adults
Went to get breakfast both days too many people in line no place to eat and the waffle iron wasn't on ahead of time so the person that used it got the batter stuck and couldn't get it off. 1 waffle iron. They were sold out you think they would of planned better. The front desk help looked like a convict and wasn't friendly. Would not go back. Towels were old and some stained.
