Location excellentrPosted Sep 15, 2013
Pros: Location and free wi-fi.
We were travelling by bus and train, so the hotel was in an excellent location for bus and train stations, as we were able to walk there, even with luggage. Also in a good position for sight-seeing. We thought hotel restaurant meal charges were excessive, so we didn't eat there. The coffee bar was better value for money. Plenty of restaurants to choose from, especially in the old town. Girona is a lovely city and this hotel is an excellent base from which to enjoy a visit.

Great room , comfy big bedPosted Aug 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
Really good location, major sites of interest just 5 minutes walk away. Parking on site (not owned by Hotel) and links directly into the Hotel - there is a discount for Hotel users (cost about what you would expect for city centre parking).Breakfast rather pricy so we opted for coffee and croissant at Hotel run bistro - sat outside and enjoyed the morning sun

Well located, clean hotelPosted Jul 21, 2013
Pros: Clean, well located
Location: 5 minute walk from the train station
Well located hotel in the very charming city of Girona, approximately a 5 minute walk from the train station. Newer furniture, nice bathroom, comfortable. Would recommend this hotel to all! In fact, it was the nicest room we had in our 12 day trip to Spain.

clean and comfortable hotelPosted Jul 14, 2013
Pros: being clean, and the staff were very helpful
Cons: the hair dryer
Location: great location near to the bus and railway station so handy for getting the fast train to Barcelona
lovely staff, clean and comfortable hotel, we did struggle using the safe however I am sure if we had asked for help we would have got it.The hair dryer was pretty much as expected from a hotel dryer useless. Well situated for the train and bus station and only a short walk from the old town where the night life was superb. We would definitely stay here again and would have no hesitation recommending to friends.

Pictures make the hotel seem much nicer.Posted Jul 5, 2013
Overall, the stay was okay. The hotel staffs were very nice. However, the pictures of the hotel can't be more misleading. When we get there, the condition and quality of the hotel itself is more disappointed than we expected. Parking is a hassle too. The hotel uses a public parking lot; you have to validate and pay the parking ticket every time you go in and out of the hotel.

Good central locationPosted Jul 3, 2013
Very nice central hotel, staff very helpful and friendly. Not sure it's 4 star but it's a high three. Food and catering side is reasonable and a fair price again pleasant without being outstanding.

Can't wait to go back!Posted May 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
What a beautiful place to stay. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, treated us with much respect, despite our poor Spanish/Catalon. The hotel was beautiful in many ways, the location great, close to a market and everything else we wanted to access. Of course, it didn't hurt that the employees were attractive and quick to smile, always appreciated. I was sorry to leave, but we had reservations for stunning little apartment in Tarragona. Girona is a wonderful place to visit, next time I hope to have my bike and much more time to spend there, hopefully at the Carlemany!

GREAT CENTRAL BUSINESS & SHORT STAY HOLIDAY HOTELPosted May 19, 2013
Pros: Service & VFM
Cons: Cost of breakfast (we always eat outside the hotel)
Location: Very central, just 10 mins walk from the station/bus station
Have been to this hotel every year for more than 10yrs now. The only 2 downsides are the price of breakfast and the closure of the Pati Verd restaurant in the evenings (recession). Bar and refreshments prices are exceptionally low for this quality of hotel.
