Hiddeb gem

We stayed one night at the hotel as part of a side trip from our week-long vacation in Barcelona. The hotel was lovely, centrally located near shops, restaurants and attractions. All of the staff were friendly and helpful and spoke English well. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Girona.

Great

It was an over night stay but I arrived early, so I can take a nap. The old city was incredible and a walking distance from the hotel. It has no parking, but if you have a business to visit, just tell them to pickup you or take a cab.

Modern hotel very close to all the old city sites.

Posted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: Clean, comfortable room, nice staff, fantastic location.
Cons: The bath products were very sparse - very small vial of shampoo and body wash and soap bars.
Location: The hotel is located in an excellent position very close to the heart of the old city and its shops, restaurants, squares and museums.
Comfortable, modern hotel with some leisure facilities (small swimming pool and several exercise bikes in well-lit dedicated rooms in the basement). The room was very pleasant with an exceptionally comfortable bed, air conditioning and modern furnishings. A minibar fridge and safe were provided within the room. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and there is a nice, modern restaurant room. There is a room to store bicycles safely so it is possible to bring your own or rent a road or mountain bike locally and store it at the hotel during your stay.

Good central location.

Posted Sep 12, 2014
Pros: Central location. Clean rooms and friendly staff.
Location: Girona is a lovely city well located as a base to explore Catalonia and all it's amenities. The city is well served by good road and rail connections.
Overall we had an enjoyable stay. The rooms were comfortable and the air conditioning a god send. The hotel is starting to show some signs of wear in the communal areas. The breakfast was adequate. The staff, on the whole, were friendly and helpful.

Great location, very smart hotel

Posted Sep 10, 2014
Pros: The quality The calming atmosphere The seating area outside, great for watching people promenade of an evening! good showers.
Cons: Some coffee in the rooms? bit odd that there was tea but no coffee.
Location: Very central for nipping into the old town, going to the river. Near a square with a selection of bars/restaurants.
Very impressed with this hotel - the built quality (I know this sounds odd, bear with me) was great. So doors felt weighty and blocked out sound; fittings were nicely finished etc. We loved the fact that the bedroom had a huge bed and the curtains were fully effective - slept SO WELL while we were there. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and very helpful when we found out our flight was delayed. The location was also brilliant: just round the corner from a big square, and not far from a bridge over to the old town. Took us 10-15 mins to reach the main bus station on foot and the hotel is actually signposted for most of the journey to the hotel from the bus station.

Great location!

Posted Sep 7, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Carpet in hallways looks like it should have been replaced a few years ago, and the shower had half a wall, so our bathroom floor was wet often.
Location: Very close to old town and parts of new town you want to be.
The hotel is located in a great spot two blocks from a cute piazza with restaurants and bars, 3 min walk to the center of old town. The rooms are comfortable. The staff is pretty friendly and helpful. Made for a great stay.
