Nice Hotel

Posted Sep 16, 2014
Pros: I did like the price that I paid, was good price for the food that was provided.
Cons: The Hotel could put a silence policy during the night, so the guest that want to sleep can have a nice night in.
The hotel is nice, staffs are very friendly, food is quite tasty. But if you have problems in going up and down using stairs be patient as the lift is always busy and there are loads of stairs. It's very noise during the night, of course this is not completely the hotel fault as the guest that was there this weekend had no respect for others, loads of shouting middle of the night, so don't expect much sleep.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in

Posted Sep 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
Rude staff, 4 times the clerk booking us in simply wandered off to attend to other 'more important' guests. Disgusting room, one bed cover with several cigarette burns, the other covered in green paint. TV...but no remote to turn it on. Absolutely no chrome left on the bathroom taps. Hoards of feral teenagers running the corridors and yelling for hours. They served frites for breakfast!! The place is a total shambles

Hotel room does need some updates/remodeling. Hotel very busy and good for students/young adults. We went during a German holiday (like spring break for US kids) and very hard to sleep. However, we knew that going in so if you want to be around a party, stay here. If you need your sleep, I would suggest go somewhere else. Food/buffet was excellent!!! Awesome selection of local and "American" food; meats, cheeses, fruits, seafood (loved it!), french fries, cooked beans, salad, breads, pastries, ice creams, etc. Staff was friendly once they knew we were not rowdy young kids making trouble. Give them respect and they will take care of you.

The hotel is to old without quality

Posted Apr 28, 2013
Pros: Non,
Cons: Non
Location: Lloret de Mar beautifull citywith most better hotels to stay in
The name is Gran Casino Royal, but without Casino. It is too old, no restaurant only buffet not bad but with no food quality. The rooms are old, beds terribles. Noisy hotel. Don't like me. Terrible choice.

I had visited this hotel previously. As a family we liked the area and beach which has lot of sporting activities to offer. I stayed here this year as our children are now 18 and 16 and wanted to stay some young and lively, which is exactly what it is. There are lots of bars and clubs and placed to eat on the doorstep of the hotel. There are lots of shops and nice promenads. We booked two rooms, one for the girls and one for ourselves, we booked all inclusive. The rooms are basic, beding changed daily and our room was cleaned to a basic level every day. My daughters complained that there room was not adequately cleaned each day, beds not made and not swept out properly. The food is basic buy lots of choice of soup, salads, cold meats, cheese, and then fish dishes, pasta and CHIPS. The hotel was constantly full, mostly German and French college students(18-22), all having a good time but very well behaved considering free alcohol all day until 12pm if all inclusive. No clamber for sunbeds as the mojority we in bed till afternoon each day. Extremely noise every night until 12pm when the young people then went out. Noisy again aroung 4/5 when they were returning. The walls in the room were so thin you could hear people talking. Good security every night to try to keep thing quiet. Ideal hotel and holiday for 18/25 year olds.

Has some advantages

On the positive side we found this hotel to be in an excellent location. Not only is it immediately adjacent to the coach station but it is within minutes of the main shopping area that has all you need for a good stay. The beach is no more than a pleasant 10 minute stroll away. A further positive was that we were surprising impressed with the food provided during our full board stay. Good selection, nicely prepared, pleanty of it and good staff. Now for the downside. the hotel is very large and of course attracts a lot of people. This wouldn't be a problem if those staying had any respect for their fellow holidaymakers, but many don't. Noise is a big prolem and every sound can be heard from the corridors and adjacent rooms.

Don`t go without earplugs

This hotel is an ageing, 70`s style hotel which badly needs refurbishing, the rooms are shabby, some of the staff are friendly, but the majority are offhand, the food is average, clean towels are provided every day but hope the weathers good because if it rains the roof leaks. The biggest setback for this hotel is the noise every night rampaging guests argue, shout and bang doors, this usually starts at 2 ish in the morning and can last all night, so if you want a quiet relaxing holiday avoid this hotel like the plague, at the end of the day if you want cheap and cheerful, this is the hotel to holiday at.
