Perfect late 50's HotelPosted Nov 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
We liked this 4 star hotel in nearly every way. Entering the hotel is like a step back into the late 1950's (It was actually built in 1961). The furnishings are all high quality and fit the era, nearly perfectly preserved. The location is OK with a 15 minute walk to the Dali Museum. Traffic noise from the nearby highway is noticeable, but we use a white noise generator app on our smartphone to mask such noises while we sleep, so no problem for us. The bathroom was in perfect condition and spotless. We really liked this place and recommend it.

Good locationPosted Oct 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
Excellent stay, close enough to A road to find easily & continue journey but 5 mins from typically Spanish town centre with plenty of choice to eat.

good hotelPosted Aug 8, 2013
It was a pleasant surprise when we arrived as it far exceeded our expectations based on other hotels in this price range for this old style hotel . 10 minutes walk from the Dali Museum. The restaurant downstairs is exceptional for it's the service. Very helpful staff. Worth the money.

Good Priced 4 Star HotelPosted Jul 9, 2013
Pros: Pet friendly
A wonderful overnight experience. Extremely clean room with good fittings. Shame there is no coffee/tea making facilities but unlike the French I don't think the Spanish do this ?? Receptionist very nice and helpful. Would use again.

Great Hotel...for couples and business travellers!Posted Jun 30, 2013
Pros: Jacuzzi bath
Cons: Bit of traffic noise as on the main dual carriageway leading into Figueras. I always wear earplugs when I travel so no biggie....
Location: Set on the edge of town so bit of a walk back from the centre in the evening. Need a cab to get to both railway stations.
The quality of the rooms and the fittings etc were great. Bed was as comfy as the one back home and that is saying something!! Bathroom was large and very well furnished (bidet, jacuzzi bath etc) and really good quality linen. We were fortunate enough to get an upgrade through Expedia so that really made it fab. Only downside is that it is on the edge of town (though town is only couple of miles across!!) and furthest away from the two train stations. Short 1/2 mile walk from town centre which was actually quite welcome after a long meal. Needed a cab to get us back to the train station.

Pros: Service and food
Location: ideal at edge of Figueres and close to the Auto Via
Have stayed here several times and rate it as one of the best of it's type. They also accept dogs which is abonus in Spain.

Nice place, good WiFiPosted Jun 14, 2013
It is a nice hotel, the prices are reasonable and the view is not bad at all. Also, the WiFi works great - very fast and reliable - something you don't find very often in Spanish hotels.
