A very convenient hotel to enjoy local dining, shopping and primarily the stunning Dali Museum a short walk away. Very helpful and friendly staff. Air conditioning had issues, and barely-working fridge.

Please don't book and expect to get a room that looks remotely like what the pictures show it to be. I booked based on the advertised look of the room and wanted a unique experience, unfortunately I was sorely dissapointed. The lobby was decorated with eccentricities and looked jubilant so upon my arrival, I was excited. I even inquired about extending my stay. This was all before I got to my room. Opening the door, there was a smell like rotting sausage and cigarettes. The queen bed was two twin matters put on top of a frame when I sat up with my back against the frame, the mattress would slide off the bed. The balcony had a hammock, which was nice but it looked as old and dirty, as the rest of the balcony. The furnishings were nothing as described! The chair in the room was an old cheap chair and the paintings were worn and crooked. The bathroom floor had ants and it just appeared dirty. The walls were thin so anyone in the hall woke me. I was very displeased. However, the hotel was in the city center which made it convenient and that was nice. Overall, I just didn't feel comfortable. I do like the comfort of feeling clean when I'm in a hotel and perhaps my expectations were too high but I do not recommend. I left a night early and the front staff seemed satisfied when telling me they wouldn't return my money. I wasn't as upset as losing my money but leaving early upset my trip.

We would stay their again
The staff was very accommodating. Location was great. Room was very nice, but they updated us to a better room due to an internal problem. Figueres is extremely difficult to find a parking place and the hotel has no parking available - that is the only negative. Also had their breakfast and it was very nice.

You have to like clowns.
Amazing hotel, really funky. With lots of hidden quirks, this hotel is really entertaining. Clean and perfect location. Slight inconvenience was the fridge didn’t work, not ideal for a road trip stop-off.

Great reception. 2mins down from dali’s museum. We arrived at 8AM and stored our luggage with the reception since it was before check in, so that we could go to the museum in the meantime. :-) room was perfectly clean too!

Visited Figueres as part of a journey through Spain. Birthplace of Dali. Hotel was like being in his laboratory. Amazing.

All the artwork and paintings is very fun and certainly in the character of visiting Dali's museum! Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent with fresh squeezed orange juice and good café solo. Do note the bed in our room was very firm (which I really prefer). My only complaint was the heater could not be completely turned off as it was still the cold season at night (late March). However by turning the fan off. And using sheet, we were comfortable. Oh, on Friday, street side can be noisy until about midnight so if that bothers you ask for courtyard room. However I was pleased street quiets down after midnight.

Very trendy clean hotel, not for big families
Nice spacious room with a king bed next to the Dali museum with parking garage deal for ten euros a 3 minute walk from the hotel. Sheets were the most soft sheets ever and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was typical but had a very nice lady making fresh orange juice. Neighbourhood had several food options. However we had an issue with communication as the two front desk people did not have good enough English to help us. We had our two youngest kids come along at the last minute due to unforseen circumstances and instead of getting an extra rollaway bed in the room or charge us for an extra person and for breakfast, I had no issue with paying more, the hotel made us rent an entire extra room-for two kids. Two adults with four kids ages 12-10-8-6 and 3 rooms not next to each other but on the same floor and without a second key for the rooms. Roll away was available, actually across the hall from one of our rooms, unused. The two extra kids ended up in our huge king beds anyway for the night. Strange stay for sure.

Good afternoon.  The hotel management wants to inform that to accommodate 6 people you need:  - 2 triple rooms or 3 double rooms. A reservation for 2 double rooms with breakfast has been made. That is for 4 people and indicated (2adults + 2 children) our hotel caters to changes or changes 24h a day, for its part we received no change for the 2 people who arrived Your companions are no longer babies and are over 6 years old, and as we indicated in all agencies and websites, all people of this age occupy the same space as an adult. Plaza Hotel Inn, will not violate the laws or regulations, will not exceed the number of people allowed in the rooms.  - Individual: 1 person  - Double: 2 people. - Triple: 3 people.  We do not believe that the payment of the third room that they occupied and the breakfasts that they took can be called UNEXPECTED PAYMENT, since, as we indicated every person of more than 6 years pays as an adult.  The only thing we regret is that the key to the room was demagnetized, which, incidentally, the receptionist who speaks English instantly repaired. We do not give duplicate cards in any room.  We wish you a happy stay, a good trip and a happy year.

Last minute change of plan, we stayed at a triple room for one night. The first thing you'll notice is the decoration, it's a little over the top for my taste. The location is great, in the middle of town and practically next to Dali Theatre Museum. The room is dated and the mattresses can use replacement. They have indents where people have slept over the years. None of us had a good night sleep. I was so cold I broke down to use the very sad looking blanket in the middle of the night. The wifi signal is quite weak if you are far away from the lobby and elevator, which our room was. The staff are nice and they are trying their best.

Great location right next to the Dali theater-museum. A fun hotel with lots of decor, breakfast was very nice. Quite a lot of street noise and the parking situation was complicated and annoying.

Dali Paradise
We loved our stay and the lovely town it's located in. We only stayed one night - which was our mistake. If I had to do it over again I would have stayed a bit longer. The room was cozy and had a nice sized bathroom. The town was fun and lively. The hotel is a bit of a walk from the station, but doable and is close to many great restaurants and of course the Dali Museum!!

The art all over the hotel makes it a fun place to stay. Literally next door to the Dali museum. There's a short-term spot reserved in front of the hotel - overnight parking is in an underground car park a very short walk away.

Quirky but flawed
A quirky and interesting hotel, in an ideal central location, interesting art collection in the stairwell and entertaining rooftop terrace, very friendly staff. Unfortunately lets itself down, my room had a terrible shower, old scratchy towels, a safe that couldn't be unlocked and a useless fridge. Promising but needs more effort

This hotel is a little quirky, don't expect luxe but it's fine, it's clean, a good value for the price. Well located right next to the Dali Museum in the center of town, close to many good restaurants, cafés, shops.

At the heart of the action
The hotel is yards from the Musilro e Teatro Dali, which is why you're here after all. It has a suitably wacky exterior and plenty of artistic licence in the decor. Arguably best is the roof top terrace with views all around. Downsides were bad wifi reception in our room at the end of the corridor , and a tricky process for unloading and parking.

It is a good hotel to stay to visit the city of Figuerss and the Dali Museum. They provide discounted timed tickets for the museum, which worked great. Breakfast wasn't great, and they could work harder on cleanliness.

Sleepless in Figueres
Very funky hotel. The location is first class the price is great. That's why I booked it. Just around the corner from Dali Museum. The girl at reception was very nice and helpful, we got free parking and she held on to our luggage in the morning while we visited the museum. However the bed was hard and so was the little sausage of a pillow. The room was boiling hot and turning the fan on somehow made itvery much hotter. The streetlight was outside our window and we could not block it. It was extremely loud from outside. We had to open the window for a while to cool off but had to close again because of noise. When traffic noise subsided around midnight every half hour the church bell chimed very close to the hotel. so we were counting the hours through the night. I guess if you are a very sound sleeper that would be fine. We did barely sleep And would not choose this place again.

Hotel is located very near the Dali Museum which was nice and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. However, the hotel itself is a bit disappointing. The walls are very thin so you will probably hear your neighbors and the breakfast was also nothing special, I cannot recommend getting the breakfast. The hotel is nicely decorated but its also on a busy street and you may hear noise from the street.

The is hotel good and met our expectations.
We stayed one night at the hotel in a trip towards the Spanish Pyreenes. The hotel was comfortable, clean, invested in interesting decoration; located in the center very close to the Dali Theater Museum, which was our target. The staf was helpful and nice.

Cool, quirky (and a tiny bit shambolic!)
Location is great - very near the museums and central square, and about a 10 minute walk from the train station. The room (a triple) was somewhat snug but clean and comfy. Rooftop terrace & bar gave great views and there was a free fish barbecue on the night we were there. The decor of the whole hotel is quirky, fun and colourful - definitely not your run-of-the-mill box-like rooms! Breakfast was a bit limited but only cost a few euro so was pretty good value nontheless, even if you just had juice, coffee and bread. Reception lady was friendly, but the communcation between her and the rest of the staff didn't seem t work too well - requests took ages and stuff was taken to the wrong room twice. All in all, would recommend it - good value and good fun!

Quirky and Different
Very welcoming and hospitable from the start. If you want something different then this is the hotel to stay at. Loads of art on the walls and carousel horses and clowns etc decorate the hotel inside and out. Although right on the street (a minute from the Dali museum) Figures is a very quite town so no problem with traffic or any other noise at night. Even invited to a free BBQ of sardines and shrimp on the roof top by the lovely owner, great night and they even took pictures and then sent them to us once home. The experience really contributed to a great holiday.
