Not good for studentsPosted Jul 22, 2013
Location: Really good near clubs and bars and beaxh
Not good for students as too busy with families. Staff rude and not helpful when you have a problem. However good place as near to bars and club and the beach so good for young people.

Great hotel near the lloret del mar beachPosted Aug 27, 2012
Cons: too busy with tourists
Location: near the beach and has many shops and places to eat nearby
The rooms are basic but clean. The best part of the hotel is that it is very near to the beach area and there is a beacth pathway that is very accessible from the hotel. We spent most of our time at the beach so for us it was ideal. The pool area is usually quite busy but for us the real value was to be near to the beach. There are plenty of places near the hotel to eat and drink. Overall, comfortable and good value for money.

The hotel is ok. We were on the 6th floor which is a bit old fashioned, but the views are very good. The people in our room next door had parties a few nights and the noise was quite loud before they went out and when they came back in. The hotel was full of 16 -18 year olds partying. The breakfast on the other hand was good, and rooms were very clean. The pool was good but get there before 11am or you won't get a seat. The location is good as the hotel is close to Lorret de mar beach and town and also close to Fennals beach which is not quite as busy as the main beach. We had no air con, even though when we booked it was advertised. Only 1 english speaking channel on the tv which went off by the 2nd night! Supermarket is straight across the road which is good for juices water etc. Overall the hotel is ok, don't expect anything too fancy, and be prepared for a lot of young loud teenagers!

Not as bad as others saidPosted May 29, 2009
This venue was chosen for me as an older guest on a stag weekend. I book a single room, read the reviews here and expected the worst. In reality this hotel offers excellent value for money. My room had been refurbished in the last few years, and was clean and tidy, whilst a little small. It was well cleaned each day. The interior of the hotel is good, its clean, bright and tidy, and there seemed to be plenty of entertainment. The exterior is a little tatty, but nothing a coat of paint would not solve. The pool was clean, with good grass areas to sit and plenty of free sun beds. The pool bar was excellent. I found all staff polite and helpful. We were not on the all inclusive, so found the bar service excellent, althought the "all inclusive" queue was always long. We also did not use the restaurant. The average age of the guests was less than 20 and I understand they were making a bit of noise late at night, but I was not affected by this. Overall this hotel offers excellent value for money particularly for large groups. And is far better than most of these reviews seem to suggest.

Reception being rebuilt cutting service and staff attentionPosted Feb 2, 2009 on Hotels.com
Good facilities at the hotel with 3 lifts to all floors, good size bar and ballroom, outside pool and gardens and good restaurant with wide choice for all tastes from fish and chips to seafood specialities and vegetarian, all buffet style. Cooked breakfast or continental (or both!) We were half-board and had stomach problems on 5th night! Lsat day on checkout reception forgot to return our passports and it cost 100Euro for a taxi dash back from Girona airport to get passports!

Great HotelPosted Oct 10, 2008
Great Hotel!! Situated off the main strip so you dont get any noise from the clubs and bars. Yet it is only a 5 minute walk down to the train station and the bars & cafes, a further 2 minute stroll and you hit the beach!! Fantastic location, easy to get to everything. Staff helpful and friendly and speak great english. We had bed & breakfast and the breakfast was good, a wide selection and plenty of seating! If you have a late flight they do have a baggage room (free of charge. Its about 30 mins from Girona airport and we landed around 11.30pm and it cost is 45 euros, there are buses to the bus station from the airport though. FAB HOTEL AND RECOMMEND TO ALL!

good basic three star hotel good for the moneyPosted May 23, 2008 on Hotels.com
stopped here now about six times, its a good basic hotel without frills, comfortable room, clean and tidy. only the food lets it down for myself, but i am very fussy. Staff all very polite and speak english so overall i recomend this hotel . one more little downside is the location, its up a steepish hill so maybe not for the elderly, but if you are a normal person than the hill will do you good after all the booze you put away
