Perfect base.....Posted Aug 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
We booked the Novotel as friends were staying in a castle nearby & we figured why pay up when we'll spend lots of time there..... Actually we only spent 1 afternoon at the castle & the rest visiting Girona, Llafranc beach & Barcelona.... This hotel was a perfect base - pool was lovely, free wifi, fab breakfast & right on the motorway for easy access.....

Very convenient for Girona AirportPosted Aug 13, 2013
Cons: Restaurant offerings
Reasonably priced hotel conveniently located for quick access to Girona Airport. Good and early shuttle service offered to airport. The room was comfortable, but the air conditioning was not working when we first arrived. This was fixed after an hour or so. The restaurant was over priced with not too much to offer.

Ok for a nightPosted Jul 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is older and the surrounding area is an airport estate. Good for an an overnight stop only.

A comfortable place to stay but quite priceyPosted Sep 15, 2012
Pros: The pool and the surrounding landscape.
Cons: The cost of meals.
Location: A quiet location which is something we looked for in an airport hotel.
My family and I had enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The size of the pool was great and the rooms were very comfortable and spacious. My only criticism is the cost of the food to eat in the hotel's restaurant. It was very pricey and not very practical for families, both breakfast and dinner. We were disappointed on one occasion when we wanted an afternoon snack and were charged Euro 7.20 each which consisted of a handful of crisps, two slices of toasted bread with a slice of cheese and a few lettuce leaves. The total bill amounted to euro 28.80 which was highway robbery. We found another hotel within walking distance that offered a buffet and ate there. I will say something very positive about this hotel, although they weren't very fluent in English, the bar and restaurant staff were very friendly and never said no to warming up my young child's food in their microwave.

Angry about expensive food cost.Posted Sep 12, 2012
Pros: Close to the airport
Cons: Food cost
Location: Away from people but close to nature
Food is very expensive, €7.20 for two slices of bread with one slice of ham and one slice of cheese, some potato chips and few veggies, Over €13 for breakfast, and you have no choice as there is no where else to buy food, unless you walk far away to another hotel that had a great buffet for €18. Front desk need to be more cheerfull with their clients, we are paying to sleep over, lower the cost of food, we don't need to buy food from other places and eat in our room, you hardly see anyone having dinner in the restaurant. Take care of your clients and be cheerfull.

OK for overnight stay as close to the airportPosted Sep 11, 2012
We stayed only one night after the arrival of a late flight. The hotel was very difficult for us to find and the signage misleading. The room was fine for a short stay but with 4 (2 adults and 2 children) of us in one room there was very little space. The beds were comfortable. We woke up late and missed breakfast so they provided us with some pastries in the bar.

lovely reception room shame about the restPosted Aug 31, 2012 on Hotels.com
we arrived late at midnight to a beautiful lobby reception area. had a few drinks in the bar and then went up to our room. the hotel has no lifts facility and an awkward stair case along with no porter to help carry up our luggage. room was small and not very clean . was pleased to be able to open the window to let some air in the stuffy room. mini bar/fridge was ok but very basic. no alcohol only soft drinks in it ! shower was terrible and again not too clean. shame the rooms were not up to the lobby standard.
