“Quite a good choice”

Good central location, nice breakfast (not included into room cost, but reasonable price). Walking distance from railway/bus station and all main city sites.

ON THE PLUS COLUMN, CLOSE TO HISTORIC CENTER. ON THE OTHER LEDGER, RECEPTION SERVICE NOT HELPFUL. IF YOU DRIVE, DIFFICULT TO REACH. ALSO, PARKING ABOUT 1/3 MILES AWAY.

“wonderful location, nice hotel”

The only problem is that the nice cable TV has nothing in English. Last year they had BBC news which is nice for staying in touch when out of the country. Location is perfect...right across the river from the Rambla...a coffee shop next door...small grocery within walking distance, great shopping nearby. Housekeeping was super...I had some laundry hanging over the tub and it was put on hangers. Bed is typical a 6" mattress on a plywood platform. Room was small, had a safe in the closet for valuables. Breakfast was good. Rolls, toast, yogurt, fruit, cheese, ham, coffee, juice. Front desk spoke some english. I will stay there again.

Location is good if you want to see the city, right next to the river. You must have a map to find this hotel which can be gotten online by the address, about a 15 minute walk through the city streets. The hotel is relatively clean and they try to give a good variety breakfast although nothing is hot. Had to open my door at 8 and ask the maids to stop shouting down the hall at each other. Maids are oblivious to guests sleeping. Only soap in room, hair dryer didn't work.
