Beautiful, clean, modern room. Enjoyed lounging poolside by the outdoor bar. Excellent buffet breakfast with wide variety of food. Although the resort is approx a 20 minute ride to Salerno, the Hotel Olympico offered free shuttle service to town.

The rooms need updating, beds not comfortable & carpet needs replacing.
The bathroom large but the shower small. All areas were clean.
There was no cafe on site but across the street there was a place to eat. Supper started a 8:30 pm. No meals were available from 2 pm until suppertime. On Saturday at 10 pm there is a dance for anyone wishing to attend. For those eating at the restaurant the dance was free.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
While this area is a prime beach/camping location for Italians, there are many poor families in the area. So when in this area with a rental car make sure when you stop you park in a paid/monitored and WATCHED parking lot. Our vehicle was broken into and luggage which was out of site in the trunk, was stolen. After the theft, the following day, while parked on a very busy main street just down from the hotel, another attempt was made to break into our rental car. This attempt was interrupted by a kind local man. The culprits were 2 woman.
Rental cars stand out like sore thumbs. There are huge stickers on the windshield and I believe all licence plates for rented cars in this are start with ER. These thieves have tools that pop trunks open in the blink of an eye. This hotel has gated parking at night time which is a plus.

Despite what the Expedia "Amenities" section indicasted, this facility does not include transportation services from the train station to their facility. It costs about 60 Euros from the Salerno Airport to the facility in Battipaglia. The facility itself was nice, but if you are checking in as a "single" you need to be prepared for the smallest bed imaginable. Smaller than the standard american twin bed. The food in the restuarant, however, was good and reasonably priced, all things considered. This facility is off the beaten path more or less, so if plan on seeing the sites, be prepared for costly taxi rides or tour fees.
It appears to be set up for destination weddings, so if that is what you are looking for, you might want to take a trip there and check it out.

Small beds that slant out, if you move on the bed you risk falling off., sore back for two days after. The pillows were hard and compacted from years of use.
The food served in the restaurant was disgusting, frozen schnitzel deep fried, dripping in grease with a slice of cold cut ham and cheese served with fries.

I have stayed there before and it was just as good this time, overall 4.5 out of 5.
Last time, the evening meals were not very good.
This trip I had no dinner there but took breakfast instead, not up to usual Accor standard, bit boring, not v g quality orange juice, while €14 is not cheap! the Ibis Frankfurt a month earlier was fabulous by comparison, for €10.
I took no photos. I don't like receiving don't reply emails.
