Salou stay
Good hotel in the centre of Salou, 100m from the main beach. Furniture is rather old, but it has good restaurant serving delicious food. It is rather 3 stars than 4 stars hotel.

Very good /clean and seem safe location.
Overall the best thing about this hotel was location 5 mins walk to the beach , bus stops to two 5 and 7 mins away.Hotel and rooms were very Clean and modern look .Food was ok a good vararity every day but lacked a favavour , more catered for north European not for international taste.Was 4star rated.

Lovely hotel. Well recommended
Lovely hotel. Room was very spacious. The food was lovely too. The restaurant was flooded due to torrential rain but the staff were amazing and worked hard together to get the place cleaned up and ready for the evening meals. A huge pat on the back to the staff.

Our room had a pool view which was very spacious and a good sized balcony, the hotel is kept very clean and tidy, the food was ok some nights were better than others pity it wasn’t served hotter but we used the microwave to heat it up

Very central and clean, able to walk to the beach in 5 minutes.Lovely and quiet and comfy beds. Breakfast and evening meal had a good 2 and a half hour window in which you could eat at any time, no booking just go in when you were ready. Nice food,slightly cold but there was a microwave to heat it up if you wanted to. Most things were labelled but we were never sure which things were Ok for a vegetarian, so that might have helped.

We stayed here for 3 nights in September 2018; our only reason for visiting Salou was to go to PortAventura & Ferrari Land which were easily in walking distance of the hotel. We wanted an apartment so that we could prepare our own food ahead of or after long days out. The apartment was lovely & spacious but had no sharp knife, chopping board or cleaning utensils. Not massive issues but a bit of a nuisance that we had to buy cleaning items to only use them twice, also we had to use a bathroom towel to dry kitchen items. However, the hotel was lovely and clean, staff were friendly & a supermarket is right opposite the entrance.

Great location
Lovely hotel in a great location just one street back from The beach and promenade. Went half board and food was varied and tasty. Swimming pool was nice and had lots of beds. Would stay here again. Good value comfortable hotel.

Lovely Hotel
We are just back after a week in your hotel... The Hotel itself was lovely, Spotless, Cleaning staff excellent, Bar Staff could do with some customer service training , very central , 5 mins walk to beach, The pool area was lovely plenty of sun loungers and again spotless. The only disappointing thing was the food, buffet style but most hot dishes were cold, fresh fruit look like it had been out on show for 2 days .

The hotel was very clean and comfortable beds. Good size room. Great pool and sunbathing area. Food was okay. Standard buffet that was usually Luke warm but there were microwaves. My main gripe was the “vegetarian dishes” which had meat in or was made with fish stock.

Great location
Nice hotel located just one street back from the main road where the beach is. A couple of restaurants and supermarket just outside the hotel. Restaurant: good selection of food. Dinner does get busy and feels abit like a canteen, some guests thought the food would run out!!. So try and get s table away from the buffet.

Good Hotel
The room we had was good,(don't have the room next to the lifts, can be noisy.) the food was excellent, with a good choice every day. The hotel is well positioned for the sea front with a number of nice bars quite near. When we went in late September it wasn't to busy. The main bus stop for local and tours is just a short walk away. We would definitely stay at the Best Da Vinci Royal again.

My friend and I stayed at this hotel in a twin room. The stay was pleasant. I love the location, the area felt safe.and the hotel had a nice pool and layout, and what seemed like good entertainment at night (we went out). There were no English people at the hotel during our stay, but I liked this. The let down at the hotel was the food..nothing for vegetarians. We'd paid half board, but had to go out and eat sometimes because we would have starved, so next time I'll just do B&B and take advantage of the restaurants offering vegetarian versions of Spanish food. The hotel was really noisy with regards to the furniture being dragged constantly and it echoing throughout the floors. Maybe the hotel could invest in leg cover/caps for the chairs and beds to muffle the relentless horrible screeching? The other thing was the door bells outside the rooms are near identical to the light switches, so people kept ringing our bell thinking it was a light switch. I would advise light and bell symbols are added to the switches. Other than this, we had a lovely time. I love Salou, this is our 2nd visit and we will definitely return. All of the staff at the hotel were super friendly, helpful and lovely and cannot be faulted and this made our stay really special.

The hotel is in a great position, just one street back from the beach. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The only downside for us was the food. The hotel food didn't seem to cater for the English - there was always fresh salads and fruit but not an awful lot of choice. We paid for half board but ate breakfast out most days and had two evening meals out in a week. We would stay here again but would just pay for room only. The hotel is about a ten minute walk (average speed) to the train station, we travelled to Barcelona for the day and it cost approx. £16.00 per person (return). The train does get very busy so we didn't all sit together and takes just over an hour to get there, but well worth it! There are plenty of good bars and clubs (for the younger ones) and they are well within walking distance. We went for our sons 18th birthday and we all had a fab time - will defo be going back!

Nous avons séjourné dans cet établissement en famille. Hôtel très bien situé à 2 minutes de la plage, de la station principale de bus (nous avons utilisé le bus pour se rendre à Port aventura Park pour info 9,75e les 10 trajets avec la carte puis 6,75 la recharge!!! Pas besoin de prendre la voiture pour s’y rendre passage à 10h00 max moins de 10 min pour y accéder en sachant que les attractions ouvrent à 10h30😉) L’hôtel, personnel agréable, les repas, nous avions pris demi pension, cuisine variee et bonne il faut le souligner pas toujours le cas dans les buffets a volonté. La période était propice l’hôtel n’était pas surchargé en tout cas pour nous super séjour. Merci vacances réussies ☺️

La chambre était correcte ainsi que le ménage. Piscine correcte sauf le manque le transats libres du fait que les gens déposes les serviettes pour réserver les places alors qu'il ne sont pas là tout le temps.(un panneau à l'entrée de la piscine indique que ce n'est pas autorisé et que les serviettes seront enlevés par le personnel au bout d'un certain temps mais jamais fait !!!). Cette pratique est de toute façon commune à tous les hôtels avec piscine. Les petits déjeuner étaient bien. Les repas du soir par contre étaient décevants pour les raisons suivants: -Salle de restauration très bruyante comme dans une cantine (familles avec enfants de bas ages) -Plat répétitifs et manque de choix (ex:pas de paella en une semaine de présence !!! -Fruits non murs Parking assez cher , 18 euros la journée mais pas trop le choix..... Nous sommes partis un jour avant et nous ne retourneront ni dans cet hôtel ni dans un autre hôtel de la ville de Salou.
