I loved this hotel!! I felt very safe and comfortable as a solo traveler. Miguel at the front desk was friendly and accommodating. I had lunch and breakfast there-yummy food and wonderful waiter!! I would definitely stay here again!

Good quiet location ocean front
Great location on the north side of Sitges so it gets you away from the crowds and noise, but still within easy walk. Beautiful beach front ocean views. Lots of artwork. AC is not as cold as we like and could use an update.

The property was listed as a 4-star hotel and although the reviews were good, that was not our experience. Firstly, there are steep steps to access the hotel which is challenging with multiple suitcases. They’ve no visible doorman, bellman or employees other than a receptionist. Secondly, we were given a room that was 10 steps above the 3rd floor. Since the elevator only goes to floor 3, we had to carry luggage up more stairs. Next, the room had 2 small wall A/C units which were not adequate for the suite we were in so the room would not cool down. It was extremely hot and even with the blackout curtains pulled, it was very uncomfortable. It defeats the purpose of paying for a sea view room when we can’t open the curtains. While we were waiting for our room, we had the breakfast buffet which consisted of cold scrambled eggs, sliced ham, toast, fruit and coffee dispensed from a machine. The breakfast was $32 and was nowhere near 4-star quality. We did finally get a new room about 10pm which was cooler, but we left the next morning foregoing the second night we’d paid for. The location is nice and the yacht club was fun, but the experience at the hotel was about 3 stars at best.

I don’t know where to start. I love art. I have my BFA and have been involved with all kinds of art. Both in NYC and Los Angeles. I have been to shows, galleries and museums all over the world. Not only does what was on “display” in my room puzzle me it worries me that someone with the wear with all to run a hotel as nice as this hotel could be would decorate my room the way they did. I was in New York during the crack epidemic and or room looked like the visualization, poorly executed, of the fever dream of a crack head in the throes of withdrawal. And I don’t mean to insult the addict. I kid you not there is a glob of paint that looks like an actual smear of fecal material. I’ll try to post pix Dear Expedia editor: my review is not in accurate nor unfair. The hotel was just fine. The room decor was insulting how bad it was

The area is stunning.. outside of Barcelona. There is a bus stop outside the building that takes you to the train station to Barcelona. Great location.

A Winter Escape
The hotel reception area has a wonderful water feature with a panoramic glass lift. There are several art pieces making the area quite interesting. The Dining room had a great atmosphere, service and food were good although the items on the menu were not to our taste (being English). Breakfast was good, but don't expect a full English cooked breakfast. The food was plentiful and good quality. The Delux rooms have great views (we were on the 3rd floor). The rooms are spacious with a comfortable bed. However, they are getting a little tired with the odd chips in the bathroom and wardrobe doors which don't run properly. Look beyond these minor details and the rooms are very comfortable. The hotel is a little off the track. There is a bus stop opposite (L3 route) which goes to the railway station. In winter there is plenty on on-street parking and two disabled bays outside the hotel. I imagine parking in summer will be an issue. The hotel is next to the marina (Port de Sitges) where there are several resturants, most open around 8pm and generally serve some great fish dishes.

Each room has locally inspired artwork, giving a very different feel to other local ‘corporate’ hotels like the bland Melia and Port Sitges. A 30 min walk into the town and main beaches is an attractive port and promenade stroll, but there’s a small beach opposite the hotel that’s ideal for families. The staff and service was excellent,

Unfortunately when we checked out and settled our bill we were charged for the wine. I didn’t realise until I’d paid as we had a taxi waiting and I didn’t have time to check the bill properly

The hotel sits right on a popular beach on one side and the marina on the other. It has a lovely marble entrance with water feature framing the staircase with “art” pieces displayed everywhere which makes it very unique. When we arrived mid morning, understandably our room wasn’t ready, but we were provided with pool towels and were able to make use of the pool area, bar and store our bags while we waited a few hours. We had a “design” room with balcony which was quite large with a huge fridge. The decor was OK if not unique. The bed was comfy and the balcony was large with a clear view of the sea. The room however lacked amenities - there’s no tea or coffee facilities which is unusual for a 4 star hotel and the bathroom was very dated. The shower pressure was AMAZING however due to the design of it, we pretty much flooded the bathroom floor every time we used it! The pool area isn’t very large and the sunbeds are limited. The tiles around the pool are a literal death trap when you exit the pool as they become very slippery! The customer service from the staff was fantastic - we were granted late checkout for a discounted price and when my toothbrush charger became stuck in the wall outlet someone came and was able to remove it with no problem. The hotel is about a 20 min walk into the centre of with quite a lot of steps which could be a challenge in the heat. Overall I had a lovely stay and would recommend, but I would stay closer to town next time.

We recommend hotel Estela.
The hotel is very clean,elegant with pieces of art throughout. The staff is professional, polite and helpful. Our room was very spacious and the bed very comfortable. The only downfall is the outdated aircondition that doesn't always work and the shower too. My friend and I both enjoyed our stay and we loved loved Sitges.

Great location….BUT…
This was our third trip in 4 years to this hotel, it has a fantastic location next to the marina and a nice beach, the views from the Balcony are great and the restaurant/ breakfast are excellent- on the downside the rooms are VERY tired, we stayed in the same suite each time and the same problems with the room 4 years ago were still there -window didnt fit so the wind whistles through the frame, glass screen on the shower had a gap- flooding the bathroom every time it was used, canopy above the balcony wouldn’t extend…furniture was old and tired… I like this hotel and (most of) the staff are warm and friendly… but it desperately needs some money spending on the bedrooms- we love Sitges so will be back in the future, but will stay at the much nicer DOLCE hotel next time (Same price as the Estela)

Hotel is closed and locked at 1am - not even any way to open with a room key. Receptionist unfriendly and suspicious - even for guests! Restaurant service was terrible - waited 15 minutes to be acknowledged & seated, then ordered soup that came with a shredded piece of notebook paper.

Beautiful hotel and good service. It’s clean everywhere. The parking area is super small. It was not easy to park the car. The sofa bed was VERY uncomfortable for a kid or an adult. The pool was nice and warm.

A nice hotel in a lovely quiet location
Definitely a business hotel rather than one aimed at holiday makers but non the less a lovely unique hotel. We stayed Sunday to Wednesday and because there were hardly any other holiday makers we had the pool area to ourselves 95% of the time. The view from our balcony of the beach was amazing (albeit over a car park). Beach was great and very quiet. Situated next to the marina with lots of restaurants but the main town was a 20 min walk away via a coastal path - With lots of bars to stop in along the way. We liked being out of the main town as we got the best of both worlds and some exvercise but this may not be for everyone. Downsides: The staff were very polite although not overally helpful. The breakfast was good but not much hot food. The hotel did look a little tired in parts. No pool bar during the week (the upside was that we bought our own from the local shop and saved a fortune). I would recommend this hotel for a peaceful stay just outside the resort centre.

The hotel was perfect. Great location for us - it was out of the main city and on the way to our next destination. The view was beautiful. Although we didn’t get to swim in the pool (it was 8degrees) it looked very inviting

We have stayed here many times and have always really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a great location just a stone's throw from Sitges quietest beach and the beautiful marina with a great selection of fantastic restaurants and cocktail bars. The hotel is clean and nicely decorated and the food is also fantastic. The staff are friendly, polite and helpful. On our last stay we were able to check on early even though we arrived before midday. I am returning this Saturday 20th October for the half term week with my family and we are all looking forward to another relaxing stay.
