Lovely hotel, modern and clean. Location good.

Posted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: It was all good.
Cons: Gym included in stay would be good, you have to pay to use it.
Location: The port is beautiful and that was my reason for choosing this hotel. This one was a ten minute walk away from the port.
Good value, staff helpful. Breakfast good and plentiful, although the hot food wasn't to our taste.

Nice hotel in residential area of Sitges

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, good food.
Cons: Breakfast service was a little slow. The staff seem too rushed off their feet.
Location: Lovely and quiet location. Central Sitges can be reached in 20-25 mins walking or a 5 min cab ride.
Had a lovely stay at this hotel. One thing I would mention is that it takes approx. 20 mins to walk into central Sitges. It is a nice walk though. The good thing about the location is it is quiet at night.

Pleasant stay away from the hustle and bustle.

We enjoyed our stay, and the hotel met all expectations. We had upgraded to a Melia room which on reflection I would not have bothered with as the decor was quite corporate rather than 'resorty' which made me feel like I was traveling for business. That said this is a hotel with large meeting space so can't be blamed for catering to the business traveller. The room itself was comfortable (if ever so slightly on the small side) and the bathroom was fantastic - great shower! We were also lucky enough to have a sea view which really made our stay so much more scenic - would recommend requesting this when booking or checking in. The public spaces are very well kept - impressive lobby as you come in, nice looking bar for evening drinks and the restaurant where breakfast was served was also well maintained. We were there in peak season so it was very busy with leisure travelers and a fair few children, I should imagine this hotel feels very different out of the months of July and August where is is mainly business travellers. My only niggle was that the pool was not the cleanest and there was a lack of sunbeds on the couple of times we ventured out there. As I said, it was peak season so I could accept a shortage of sunbeds but on one side of the pool there was a clear scummy area which was quite off putting. Location wise it's around 15 minutes walk into Sitges but it's along the quiet coast paths so very pretty and we liked being a but away from the crowds.

Nice hotel located in a nice quiet area.

Posted Jul 31, 2014
Pros: Quiet location
Cons: Hotel pool was only used once on a Saturday and it was packed, not enough sun loungers available. Not pleasant.
Location: Great for nearby beaches,
Lovely room with great sea view, hotel staff were all very helpful. Visited nearby beaches most days, but beware if you intend to use the hotel pool at a weekend, get down early as it gets packed and many people 'reserve' sun lounger's early!

Close to the beach and also the marina behind.

Posted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: The varied breakfast and location by the beach
Cons: Its fine as it is
Location: Easy walk into town for all the bars and restaurants and then a nice walk back. Its also a lot cooler than staying in the town.
Breakfast was lovely and the rooms really clean. Pool area really relaxed and quiet during the week. Easy walking distance into town and back.

Good choice for a hotel with full facilities.

Posted Apr 21, 2014
Pros: Reliable free Wi-Fi in the bedroom. High level of service throughout.
Cons: Breakfast buffet was good, but not excellent. Plenty of fruit, breads, jucies, cold and cooked meats, but little in the way of fish and pastries.
Location: There is a marina with restaurants 3 minutes from the hotel, and 2 local beaches. Sitges centre is 15 minutes pleasant walk by the sea.
Large, pleasant and modern conference hotel from Melia near Sitges centre, with good gym, pool and leisure facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially at reception. Room cleaning and room service were also excellent. This is a good choice for a leisure break or for a business event. Go for a newly renovated room. We stayed there over Easter, and the hotel was very popular with families.

Short but perfect

Pros: location, a proper hotel, so often missing in Spain
Cons: nothing
Location: Sitges, the greatest town in all Spain
We arrived late so only had time for a drink in the bar. Check in was a little long but very pleasant. The room was perfect, large, clean, great views to mountains and sea, Breakfast was excellent, good food, great choice, reasonably priced, overall great value

PARTIALLY UPDATED HOTEL

Posted Mar 7, 2014 on Hotels.com
I have stayed at this hotel at least once a year for the past 7 years. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the location is splendid and the rooms are comfortable. The lobby and restaurants have been updated to a sleek contemporary style that is quite chic. The rooms however are still stuck in the 1980s, there is quite a discordance between the lobby and the actual rooms. Perhaps they are in the process of updating the rooms as well, I don't know. The problem I consistently have at this hotel is the WIFI it is sporadic at best, no matter what they tell you or what they promise, it is far from satisfactory... at least they don't charge you per day for this mediocre service any more. We live in the information age, free WORKING WIFI is essential in any hotel, there is just no way around it. Another strange problem we had was that the telephone did not work at all in the room. It was not even plugged in, but when I did plug it in I made a call to room service but I could hear them and they could not hear me. Finally I had to call the hotel from my mobile to get someone to bring us breakfast and fix the phone. Not great... also someone had left a pair of socks on the shelf in the closet.... I don't know if they were clean or dirty, they were folded but still. Ewww.

A night away

Posted Feb 16, 2014
Pros: Food in the evening. Sea view room was beautiful.
Cons: The spa and suana need updating. It's expensive for what it is.
Location: Very close to everything. Love it
Room was excellent but sauna and spa were extremely disappointing. The man at spa was miserable. Check in was functional but nothing else. Breakfast is good but no one was cooking omelettes like they were in the summer. The meal in the evening was beautiful. Good value. Very relaxing atmosphere.
