Cons: Beds in our room were uncomfortable

Nice Hotel in the very Spanish area of Vila Seca. Restaurants local are great, just need to explore! Cheap and great food, nice to be away from the real tourist traps!

Great hotel close to salou and portaventura. Oscar working in the resturant was brilliant, great customer service. Free shuttle buses to nearby attractions was so helpful and the drivers English was perfect and always offering help. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely hotel in peaceful location.

The hotel was in a quiet and peaceful setting surrounded by plenty of shops, it is very clean and comfortable with friendly staff, there is a free shuttle bus to take you to and from the theme park of port aventura and the aquapolis water park and the beaches of salou and la pineda, overall a lovely place to stay and good base for all activities.

Not up to standard

Posted Jul 6, 2014 on Hotels.com
Bathroom in need of a good clean, not up to standard requirement with dust on fittings and mould on the tiles. Room was for two people but only one coffee and one tea sachet in the room, no milk offered although we managed to get some fro the restaurant. The staff were excellent a pity about the standard of the hotel. We stayed in five hotels during our trip through Spain an France and this was without doubt the worst.

Clean friendly hotel.

Pros: The service and facilities i.e pool, rental bicycles
Cons: perhaps a break down of trains public buses for tourists to view? as the hotels shuttle bus only ran 6 people a couple of times a day.
Location: Its hard to get bored plenty to do in Salou, water park, theme park, lovely towns.
The hotel was worthy of 4 star, the staff where friendly and went out of their way to advise us on transport & other facilities, although if you are staying for Salou, tarragona or portaventura be prepared to pay taxi's around 13 euros each way, we found the public buses became unreliable throughout the early evening, on a positive note they have bicycles to hire for around 10 euros a day! which made getting to salou an enjoyable experience other than that i had no problems at all!.

Great for Port Aventure

Nice clean hotel which provides a free bus to Port Aventura and Beach. The town of Vila Seca has few tourists and is catered for the locals. There are a handful of bars and restaurants near by. Perfect for the theme park but wouldn't recommend for a stay of anymore than a few days.

Lovely hotel but not a great location

Posted Jun 15, 2014 on Hotels.com
This hotel was comfortable, clean and upmarket. It has an outdoor pool and spacious rooms. I was particularly impressed with the hotel staff who let us check out an hour later free of charge, printed off bus and train times for us and were generally very informative about the area. The location of the hotel is the only thing that was slightly disappointing. If you are after a beach holiday then there is a bus service for around €2 return to Salou which takes no longer than 20 mins each way. If you are looking to visit Barcelona, then the train is around €18 return and takes an hour and a half roughly from Vila-Seca station. Vila-Seca itself doesn't really have much to offer tourists but is an authentic Spanish town with a few cafe/bars and some shops (you'll probably be the only Brits in the town!). Overall, I am impressed with the hotels quality and service, however, it would have been nice to be able to walk to the beach rather than get a taxi/bus.
