Pleasant hotelPosted Jul 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
We picked this hotel as it was a reasonable price compared to others in the area. It is a 10-15 minute walk into town but an excellent location if you have a car and plan to drive to other areas. Easy access and parking. Friendly family style with good pool and garden area. Nice balcony for rooms overlooking pool which we used to have drinks and snacks in the evening. Only complaint was that there should be a designated smoking area as the smell came into the room and was also annoying at breakfast when people were smoking next to our table.

Good hotel for quiet relaxationPosted Aug 11, 2012
Pros: Friendly, efficient staff. Quiet pool area Ample time for breakfast Large open lobby area with wi-fi
Location: Removed from town but not remote. Santa Theresa is a lovely town well placed for exploring surrounding countryside and multitude of beaches
Situated conveniently close to Santa Theresa with its ample supply of good restaurants. An uphill walk back but no real distance for the mildly active.(The town itself is quite hilly but also has a lovely beach and attractive town square) The staff in the hotel are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and of an adequate size with towels changed and room cleaned daily. The breakfast is served from 7.30 until 10.00 and has a wide choice from cold meats/cheeses to fresh fruit and yoghurt-with plenty of pastries and cakes.Coffee and tea are freshly made and water and juice are also available. The terrace for breakfast is delightful and overlooks the pool area.Lounging by the poolside is enhanced by the comfortable fabric-cushioned loungers with large parasols for those seeking shade. The pool is of a good size for the size of the hotel and the surrounding area and garden is kept immaculately. The hot-tub/jacuzzi is an enjoyable option.Free parking is provided. We enjoyed being away from the town slightly and the walk home after a meal in the evening took around 15 minutes and was perfect for walking off a few of the calories.

Excellence made to look easy.Posted Oct 7, 2011 on Hotels.com
A hotel that makes providing excellent uncomplicated service look simple. I was on a motorcycle tour of Northern Sardinia and spent 2 nights at the Diana Hotel. They have a model here that many Hotels I have stayed at could learn lots from. Easy on the eye, effortless and enjoyable. Staff with a smile. Well done.

Great hotel, lovely staff!Posted Oct 2, 2011 on Hotels.com
We stayed here for 3 nights in September 2011. I think the hotel is fairly new, as everything looks pristine and is very well maintained. The swimming pool was meticulously cleaned every morning while we were there, although was also FREEZING cold!! Very refreshing on a hot day though. The rooms are well-decorated and furnished, as well as being fairly spacious and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable, the en-suite was nice (shower only), and the balcony, whilst offering no privacy, did give a nice view over the garden and pool (although it should be noted that some rooms don't face in this direction). Request a room with a balcony / terrace overlooking the pool - on the ground floor, this will give you access directly to the pool area. The staff were always very friendly and helpful, from the receptionist who greeted us upon arrival, to the cleaners, and the team who run the breakfast buffet - always very smiley, which makes such a difference to your experience! The breakfast buffet was served in a nice area overlooking the pool, with a choice of indoor and outdoor seating. The buffet was plentiful, and although we only ever saw a cold selection, this suited us in this climate! Nice breads, pastries, cereals, jams, cakes, fresh fruits, yoghurts etc. Really the only slight negatives we could identify for this place are: 1) the distance to town (a 10 minute walk, uphill on the way back) and the Rena Bianca beach (slightly further with another hill!) but to be honest I was grateful for this means of working off some of the pizza calories! 2) the rooms aren't entirely sound proof, so we were awoken once or twice by other guests in the corridor outside. But if you're capable of walking up a hill, and sleep reasonably well, please don't let these things put you off! We really liked this place and enjoyed our stay.
