In the heart of downtown Olbia

Posted Sep 29, 2013
Pros: Cleanliness , the staff , the bathroom
Cons: Pillow top mattress on the bed
Location: High street just around the corner- don' t miss " Gap" for gelato
From reception to check out , this hotel did everything right. Highly recommend . The value and loveliness of the entire staff made our stay enjoyable. Breakfast in the morning was nice, the lovely attendants in the morning greeted us with a smile and made lovely cappuccinos for us to enjoy. Claudio the manager of the hotel was gracious as well as the rest of the front desk. The bathroom has been remodeled and was contemporary , if I had to say anything negative it would be to put pillow top mattresses on the bed and one more pillow would have been great- but truthfully it did not make or break our stay- the staff, the cleanliness of this boutique hotel were amazing. Lovely restaurants within walking distance. We had a rental car to visit the beautiful beaches of Sardinia , a car is a necessity from this location to truly enjoy the area.

clean, modern hotel. few mins walk from main street / port area of Olbia. Parking free on the surrounding streets (or cost in the hotel garage).

Got in late from the ferry, but the front desk was still super friendly and helpful. Free wifi and drink upon our arrival, and plenty of guidance in getting around the town and to the beaches. Central location, close to the main corso, train station, and bus stops. Comfortable bed, and very nice bathroom. Great deal!

Enjoyable Stay

Posted Jul 15, 2013
Pros: Location
Cons: noisy air conditioning and view from the room
Location: Olbia is a bustling town, a good base location with bus & rail links for beaches and sightseeing locations
Good hotel in a very good central location close to the main part of town and the local railway and buses, very clean and well maintained throughout. Rooms in the annexed side of the building have a poor overview of a graffit'd & damaged building thought, which is outside the hotel boundary and spoils the overall effect of the hotel. The hotel needs to consider extending the bar service, it doesn't open it apart from the evening, so you cannot purchase any drinks and enjoy them in the lovely seating area in the hotel lobby or the terrace during the day time. Breakfast is also very limited with the same foods every day, no variation during our week's stay. Staff were very helpful and spoke good english.

Took a little bit of finding but worth the effort. Being at the edge of the old town the hotel is ideally located for sightseeing with free and convenient 'on street' parking available. The staff made every effort to be helpfull

Great place by the port

A modern facility in the middle of an old section that is going through massive restoration, minutes away from an area with restaurants, coffee shops etc. Minutes away from the beach. Clean, nice and with very accommodating staff (we cam late and left early(before 6AM) - they made an effort to prepare pastries and (great) coffee. Great value !

Great value hotel but not baby-friendly

Posted Oct 1, 2012 on Hotels.com
Hotel location doesn't look fab as you approach, but it is very close to the main street with shops and restaurants in Olbia, and inside, the hotel is really nice. We enjoyed our stay but were disappointed on two counts, both baby-related. We traveled with our 1 1/2 year old, yet had to pay 12 Euros a night to borrow a travel cot (we've never had to pay before) and the hotel put us in a room that was accessible from a lift that you had to reach by going down several stairs...not great with a toddler either in or out of the buggy. Otherwise, for adults traveling without young kids, a great value hotel.

Good - however air conditioning was not working.
