Traditional style hotel with very large rooms.
Very nice hotel well located, within a 3 minute drive to the small downtown area by the port. Very clean traditional style hotel. Large balcony area looking over the pool and the sea. A solid 4 star hotel. Very large rooms.

Nice 4*hotel
The hotel is hosted in a nice, typical structure with an amazing pool(in case you are interested in it). Just 10'walk from town and with a private parking. Very clean, with nice amenities,it just misses some of the comforts a 4*hotels would have such as free water in the room and a higher quality of food for breakfast.

Wonderful place to stay in while in Cala Gonone and surrounding area if you're after clean, quiet, comfortable, safe, relaxed accomodations. The restaurant which serves breakfast and dinner to guests offers solid, good meals.

The staff was remarkable. Thank you to Eugenio, Gianna, Viviana and Pepe for making our stay special. They were friendly, extremely helpful and more than accommodating. The view from the pool of the mountains nearby is beautiful and the property is in a great location.

What an amazing hotel. We only stayed two nights, but we wished we had stayed the entire week instead of moving North to the more touristy areas of the island. The hotel, rooms, grounds and everything between were immaculate. The pool was so fun to swim and relax in. There was a shallow area in the pool for small kids and a little play area easily accessed behind the rooms. All of the staff we encountered, including the owner, were so kind and happy to help. One thing I wish I knew beforehand is the evenings that the restaurant prepares dinner. We mistakenly made a reservation elsewhere on Saturday night, expecting to be able to eat at the restaurant on site on Sunday. With the restaurant closed on Sunday, we had to make other arrangements. We hope to visit again next summer, booking only Hotel Nuraghe Arvu as our accommodation.

2 night stay - June 2019
Good size room with balcony that had option for drying clothes. Lots of sunshine on balcony due to positioning. Breakfast was buffet style with good options. Plenty of parking availability although our Sat Nav kept trying to direct us towards the back entrance (now closed) rather than the main gated entrance. 15 minute walk to harbour/boats and was quite hilly. Lots of other resorts (hotels, camping etc) nearby. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. We availed of the packed lunches for our boat trip and it was worthwhile for the cooler bag alone which is good sized and can carry much more than food.

Gorgeous hotel with peace and quiet
Hotel Nuraghe Arvu was bliss! Our room was spotless, the decoration/colours made us feel very relaxed and at home! The pool area is really big and has lots of shady areas for those who don’t want to be in the sun. The breakfast was great with hot and cold options and lovely staff.

Brilliant for couples
Beautiful hotel, lovely pool, great breakfast. Nice location: not right in the centre so you have a little break from the hustle bustle of town, but close enough to walk to and fro without any hassle.

Amazing Gulf of Orosei
We only stayed a night - the main purpose was to rent a Zodiac to tour the coast - which is everything it's hyped to be. The hotel staff organized the boat for us with a very helpful and reliable service in town and then provided the shuttle bus to drop us and pick us up when we were finished. Wonderful service and kind people.

Lovely little resort
Fear not - the hotel is not in the city of Dorgali, rather on the outskirts of Cala Ganone (actually close enough to walk into town). It is a lovely, little resort. The rooms are pretty - very simple but nice. The setting is beautiful and the pool is very nice. The front desk staff are efficient and helpful. There is a nice bar and you can sit outside and have a drink. The breakfast was very nice and the dinner we had was fine. My big complaint - there is just no wi-fi at all in the rooms. It should be available everywhere now. If you can get a room around the pool, it is a lovely scene. They will take you to town in a van and arrange tours, etc. We had a car and didn't need the help (and they charge a service free for arranging things.) Except for the wi-fi, we just really liked this hotel a lot.

Great hotel, perfect location and lovely staff
We stayed at Hotel Nuraghe Arvu for a week at the end of August - it was fantastic. Each room has either a patio or a balcony - from ours we had a view of the sea one side and the pool on the other which was brilliant. The breakfast was immense - loads to choose from and self-serve. It was a 10 minute walk to town: the hotel also had a shuttle bus to take you and pick you up during the day. The highlight was the staff - they were so friendly and helpful, booking a couple of visits for us and arranging Tuck Tucks to pick us up in the evenings. The only minor thing was that the plastic glasses in the room weren't replaced but we could have asked! Really lovely place - thoroughly recommend it.

We visited on our honeymoon. The hotel grounds are beautiful. The pool is nice and clean and the staff is EXCELLENT. So kind and friendly. The room wasn't as modern and clean as we would have liked...but I looked again at the advertized pictures and I do not think they are misleading. There were a couple of ants on the floor our first day and the bed wasn't overly comfortable. But again I don't think the hotel was misleading...it's just not a luxury hotel. It is also a decent walk down to the beach which again was something I guess we should have researched more.

Great Hotel!
Beautiful and lovely hotel, wonderful experience and only a short walk to the beach. The buffet breakfast is ample with quite a bit of choice and the terrace overlooks the pool and mountain side which makes for a lovely way to start the day. The hotel is clean throughout and the staff helpful when we had questions about the surrounding area. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

The pool and central area of the hotel are simply a great place to lounge the day away if you are looking for the hotel to be the center of your stay, especially with kids. The food was better than I have seen other reviewers rate it (perhaps it is improved) and my wife in particular devoured her seafood stew two nights in a row. The staff were mostly ready to jump up and help with anything they could, and were very sweet to our toddler. The hotel is not exactly right by the beach - it is a 10-15-minute walk down a steep hill to the waterfront promenade and beach, and the same walk up the same steep hill after dinner. But overall we were very happy with our stay.

Wonderful place, very beautiful around the pool. Authentic decor. The bed was rather hard, and the neighbour hotel rather noisy. 10-minutes walking distance to the Main Street with all the restaurants. Nice staff.

Le resort est situé à Cala Gonone, dans une belle position près du centre du village et des plages (500 à 800m à pieds). Il est constitué d'un bel ensemble de petites maisonnettes blanches et bleues très jolies. La piscine centrale est grande avec un bain enfants et un jacuzzi extérieur. Pas beaucoup d'espace extérieur, peu de jardin. Les chambres sont spacieuses mais sommaires en déco et accessoires, en tout cas de ce que l'on pourrait attendre d'un hôtel 4*S. La literie, à ressort, pourrait aussi être amélioré. Nous avions des chambres supérieures avec vue, et petite terrasse, très plaisantes. Le petit déjeuner est lui aussi assez sommaire, pas de jus de fruits frais, des oeufs brouillés et bacon classique, des confitures ou du miel sous blister, des fruits frais hors pastèques ou ananas très "datés", du pain de mie ou aux céréales tranchés mais peu de variétés pour faire bref et peu de choix. Nous n'avons pas tenté le restaurant. Nous avons eu un problème de wifi (pas de connexion possible) dans l'une des chambres et il a fallu 2 jours sur les 3 de notre séjour pour le solutionner. En gros et surtout, pour le montant réglé par chambre et nuit, plus de 250€, nous attendions quelques prestations plus "luxueuses" !

Struttura all'altezza delle aspettative in termini di servizi, dimensione delle stanze, comfort, tranquillità e pulizia. Personale molto cortese e attento alle misure anti-Covid (con discrezione). Unico neo anche se minore: i cornetti della colazione non sono particolarmente fragranti. Migliorabili. Se tornassi a Cala Gonone non avrei dubbi e tornerei in questa struttura.
