5 minutes to town centrePosted Sep 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
What you expect from a Mercure hotel. Helpful staff, comfortable and well equipped room. We were overlooking the camper van and car park so couldn't have the window open, air con though so not too bad. Did not eat in hotel as plenty of places to eat in Town. Good value for money.

Ok digs near townPosted Aug 24, 2013
Pros: Vehicle parking easy
Cons: Needs refurbishing, but still ok
Location: 5mins walk from Beaune centre a plus
Evening meals - recommend eat elsewhere Very plain/uncomplicated and overpriced compared with the expertise and choice in abundance only 5 mins away

Great location and pool but standard rooms smallPosted Aug 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
great location, one of the only hotels in Beaune with a pool - but standard bedrooms are really too small (with out dated decor) to put an extra (childs bed in) we were really cramped.

Excellent hotel with high standards of customer care. Location good as only a short walk to Beaune town centre. Would recommend it.

Great hotel for mature couplesPosted Jun 22, 2013
We have stayed here many times and always receive a warm welcome. Some of the rooms are looking a little outdated but are beautiful and clean with comfortable beds and crisply laundered bed linen. It's nice to have tea making facilities but a definite 'no- no 'is paper cups instead of the china we had been used to.

Pros: The exit gate.
Cons: The customer service
My wife and I checked in after a long drive at 4:00pm, we were initially told our room wasn't ready and that we should wait in the bar. I objected vigorously as I didn't come to drink in the bar and the advertised time is 12 noon, the check in staff further checked with housekeeping and they found a room. Once in the room the air conditioning was on full heat and wouldn't reverse. They eventually found another room but we had to move all our suitcase etc ourselves. The staff were condescending and we were treated as an inconvenience not a valued customer. This hotel is not even a one star in my opinion.

On the edge of beaune with a short walk in to town. Good spacious car park. Good evening meal.Comfortable and clean rooms . Public areas very smart only downside was the rooms were a little in need of refurbishment. Did not detract from our stay

Pros: Large airy room
Cons: Egg machine not working right
Location: Reasonably central but better to walk into town by the riverside, avoid going via Rue Calmes - several groups of men hanging about made us fell wary
Superb airy large room, excellent view over the town and river. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and very good value. The egg boiling kit in at breakfast is variable - check it is actually up to heat before using...
